NFL Week 3 Survivor Picks: Seahawks Secure Victory with Walker Leading the Way
Betting analyst Stewart Serena from Underscoreg Review is keeping an eye on the Seattle Seahawks for Week 3. He is sharing his top survivor picks based on the latest NFL odds from our top sports betting apps.
Congratulations to those who have advanced to Week 3 in their survivor contests, as many participants were eliminated.
There are three teams favored by double digits this week, but I’m looking at the Seattle Seahawks playing at home against the Carolina Panthers. While they may not be at the top of the rankings, I have provided my analysis below.
Below are our NFL Week 3 survivor selections to accompany our NFL Week 3 projections.

NFL Week 3 Survivor Picks: Rankings
5. Ravens (vs. Colts)
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson is still in concussion protocol and did not participate in practice on Wednesday. As a result, backup Gardner Minsew could potentially start at quarterback against the Ravens in Week 3.
Minshew is a reliable NFL quarterback who will help the Colts stay competitive in this game. However, I doubt that his reliability will be enough to secure a road upset over the Baltimore Ravens.
Our young Quigley is in agreement and is preparing to include a Lamar Jackson passing prop in his prediction for the Ravens-Colts game.
4. 49ers (vs. Giants)
The New York Giants deserve credit for their impressive Week 2 comeback victory against the Arizona Cardinals. However, facing the San Francisco 49ers on the road for a second consecutive game on Thursday Night Football will be a challenging matchup for the G-Men.
The San Francisco 49ers have a wealth of playmakers on offense and defense, yet they are only slight favorites in the Super Bowl odds. While the talent difference between them and the New York team may be significant, I am hesitant to bet on a Thursday night game, especially with several other strong favorites playing.

3. Jaguars (vs. Texans)
The Jacksonville Jaguars are a challenging team to predict after being identified as an anomaly from an analytical perspective last season. In their opener, they allowed the Colts to stay competitive, and in the following game, the Kansas City Chiefs limited them to only nine points and 271 yards on offense.
Nevertheless, despite the significant point spread, I have faith in Jacksonville head coach Doug Peterson and quarterback Trevor Lawrence to improve their record to 2-1.
Additionally, we anticipate Nick Collins to contribute significant garbage-time statistics in our prediction for the Texans-Jaguars game.
2. Cowboys (at Cardinals)
It is a challenge to find a defensive metric where the Dallas Cowboys are not leading the NFL. This week, they have the opportunity to face the winless Arizona Cardinals and quarterback Joshua Dobbs, who is only making his fifth career start. Best of luck to the Cardinals.
This matchup presents a great opportunity for Dak Prescott and the offense to showcase their best performance yet. Our expert, Green Finnians, predicts in his Cowboys-Cardinals forecast that Dallas will cover a large point spread.
1. Chiefs (vs. Bears)
Last week, the Chiefs were boosted by the comeback of tight end Travis Kelce and defensive tackle Chris Jones. They are expected to easily defeat the struggling Chicago Bears on Sunday.
It is already difficult to win at Arrowhead Stadium against Kansas City, and with Bears quarterback Justin Fields expressing doubts about the coaching staff only two weeks into the season, I doubt Chicago will be able to pull off an upset on the road.
In his prediction for the Chiefs-Bears matchup, Brooks Octavia is keeping an eye on Justin Fields’ running abilities as a potential prop to play.
Survivor Selections NFL Week 3: Avoid
Dolphins (vs. Broncos)
Given the numerous lopsided matchups in Week 3, I am cautious about suggesting the Miami Dolphins take on the winless Denver Broncos. I also think that the reality of these teams falls somewhere in between – Miami may not be as strong as their early season performances suggest, and Denver may not be as weak.
In our Broncos vs. Dolphins predictions, our NFL analyst Phil Wood is also a fan of the points and explains why.
My NFL Week 3 Survivor Pick: My choice
Seahawks (vs. Panthers)
I’m choosing the Seattle Seahawks for Week 3 because I believe they will dominate the Carolina Panthers at Lumen Field on Sunday. The Panthers’ offense is lacking playmakers, and whether it’s Andy Dalton or Bryce Young at quarterback, they are in for a tough game against the Seahawks.
Seattle may not reach the level of the ’85 Bears on defense, but they are closer to a middle-of-the-pack unit than they have demonstrated in the first two weeks. The Seahawks’ offense is explosive and Carolina, on a short week and traveling across the country, will struggle to keep up with Seattle in this matchup.
| Week 1 | Week 2 | Week 3 |
