Which driver will emerge victorious in the Coke Zero Sugar 400?

Hamlin (+1200)

Despite the uncertainties this week, Denny Hamlin brings a reassuring track record of success to the table. In his last 11 races at Daytona, the No. 11 car has clinched two wins and five top-10 finishes.

Over the past three seasons, Hamlin has consistently performed well on superspeedways. He secured three consecutive poles at Talladega, winning one race and earning three top-10 finishes during that time.

This season, he has achieved two victories, seven top-10 finishes, and five top-5 finishes driving his FedEx Toyota. Although he struggled at superspeedways with a 37th place finish at the Daytona 500 and an 18th place finish at Talladega, he has managed to secure three top-10 finishes in the last six races, including two top-5 finishes.

Logano (+1300)

Joey Logano has struggled in superspeedway racing throughout his career, with an average finish of just under 18th place in his 54 total starts on this type of track. However, it is important to note that this statistic is somewhat skewed, as he has been involved in wrecks and failed to finish in five of the last 11 races on superspeedways.

Logano has started inside the top 10 nine times since 2015. He secured his only career win on this track after starting in fifth place.

Logano has consistently finished in the top six in the past four races and has managed to move up to the front of the pack from outside the top 15 in the last two weeks. It is also worth mentioning that a Ford has won the last three races on this track.

Gibbs (+4000)

A rookie has already claimed victory on this track earlier this season, with Austin Cindric showing that anyone can win at Daytona by taking the checkered flag in February. This week, Ty Gibbs will make his track debut, stepping in once more for the injured Kurt Busch. The full-time Xfinity series driver has five wins on the junior circuit this year.

Gibbs has started five races in the No. 45 car, achieving a top-10 finish and three finishes inside the top 20. He has impressed by running 266 laps within the top 15 against the top drivers in the sport. If he can find the right line this Saturday, it could result in his first career win in the Cup Series.
