The Liberal Party of Canada has won three straight national mandates, and although the next election has not been announced, one of the top Ontario sports betting sites is already offering odds on the 45th Canadian election.

The Conservative Party of Canada (CPC) is currently listed at -275 odds on FanDuel.

The Conservative Party of Canada is currently leading in polls to potentially become the next government of Canada. Although the CPC has not won a federal election since the Liberals under Justin Trudeau took power in 2015, they have previously formed two minority governments in 2006 and 2008, as well as a majority government in 2011.

Under Pierre Poilievre’s leadership, FanDuel is indicating a 73.33% implied win percentage for the party. Recent polling conducted by Abacus Data and Nanos Research in January 2024 shows the conservatives holding a significant lead.

Since before the 1921 election, either the LPC or CPC (or one of their historical predecessors) has always been in power in Canada. The party that governed from 1917 to 1921 was mainly made up of MPs who had previously been affiliated with the Conservative party.
