NBA Finals Game 2: Mavericks and Celtics Parlay Preview with SGP Odds and Predictions
The Dallas Mavericks are seeking redemption in Game 2 of the NBA Finals, and we have compiled our top parlay predictions for the Dallas Mavericks vs. Boston Celtics matchup based on the most favorable NBA odds for Sunday’s game.
Game 1 was decided early on as the Boston Celtics dominated the Dallas Mavericks, winning by 18 points. Boston will aim for another victory on Sunday at TD Garden, with the game scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
The Celtics are favored by 6.5 points against the Mavericks in the NBA Finals, largely due to the performance of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. For Dallas to improve their chances of winning the championship, they will rely on Luka Doncic to maintain his stellar play despite carrying an injury into Game 2.
Here are our top Mavericks vs. Celtics parlay predictions for Game 2, in addition to our player props. These picks are based on odds from our top NBA betting sites and are rated on a 1-to-5-star confidence scale.

Predictions for the Mavericks vs. Celtics game by SGP
Luka Doncic expected to achieve a double-double performance ⭐⭐⭐
Without Doncic, Dallas could have suffered a much more humiliating defeat in Game 1. He scored over a third of the team’s points, totaling 30 while also grabbing 10 rebounds. Despite concerns about a thoracic contusion, Doncic is set to play in the upcoming Sunday game.
Despite concerns about his injury, we are choosing this prop as the first part of our SGP with a focus on his rebounding. Doncic has been averaging 9.7 rebounds per game in the playoffs, reaching at least 10 in 12 out of 18 games, including nine of his last 11. It’s worth noting that he has also achieved at least 10 assists in eight games, showing his versatility on the court.
According to our odds converter, there is a 65.52% chance that Doncic will record a double-double in Game 2, considering he has achieved this feat in 14 games this postseason. To learn more about his Game 2 matchup, explore our Luka Doncic odds & player props.
Jayson Tatum is projected to have more than 15.5 combined rebounds and assists ⭐⭐⭐
The discussion about Tatum’s performance seems endless, especially following his 16-point outing in 42 minutes during Game 1. However, the Celtics’ overall strength and Tatum’s ability to contribute in different ways proved that his scoring wasn’t the only factor in their success. One of my favorite playoff bets, aside from Jalen Brunson Overs, has been wagering on Tatum surpassing his rebounds and assists line.
In Game 1, he achieved 11 rebounds and five assists, but the odds are now stacked against him for Game 2. Despite a win probability of only 51.22% at -105 price, Tatum has been averaging 16.3 rebounds and assists in the playoffs, leading Boston in both categories.
Tatum achieved 16+ rebounds and assists in 11 out of 15 games during the postseason, and in seven of his last eight games. To learn more about Tatum, visit our Jayson Tatum odds & player props section.
Jaylen Brown made four 3-pointers. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Jason Kidd, the Mavericks head coach, cunningly attempted to disrupt Boston’s dominance by slyly referring to Brown as the Celtics’ top player, sparking a media frenzy. Tatum acknowledged the tactic, stating, “People are trying to divide us. It’s a clever move on their part.”
Whether it’s Tatum or Brown, it doesn’t make a difference, but Brown is impressing in the playoffs with strong performances on offense and defense. He has improved his three-point shooting to 36.6%, a higher percentage than his regular season average.
In the playoffs, he has made at least two 3-pointers in eight games and has a shooting percentage of 37.9% in his last four games, going 11-for-29. This leg of the game has a win probability of 69.23% and increases the SGP to +325. With these odds, there is a 23.53% chance that each leg will be successful, resulting in a $10 bet paying out $42.50.
Picks for the Mavericks-Celtics game were selected on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time.
