The cut line for the 2024 Masters was set at plus-6, which tied the highest number in the past ten years, matching the cut from both 2016 and 2017. A total of 60 golfers advanced to the weekend rounds.
Justin Thomas, Wyndham Clark, Viktor Hovland, Jordan Spieth, and Brian Harman were among the notable players who failed to make the cut at the 2024 Masters, finishing below the line on Friday evening.

Placing bets on the Masters tournament cut line
Aside from the regular Masters odds, there will be additional betting markets related to the cut line before the tournament. Each golfer will have their own odds on whether they will make the cut, and there will also be Over/Under markets for the cut number.
Fifty players (and any ties) will advance to play the third and fourth rounds after the 48-hole cut. In 2024, a total of 60 players qualified for the next stages of the tournament.
At bet365, we offered a total of 148 (+4) for a three-way market bet. The Over 148 option paid out at +333.

Masters cut rule
In 2023, 53 out of 88 golfers in the field made the cut at plus-3 following the second round of the Masters, allowing them to advance to play Rounds 3 and 4 along with the top 50 players, including ties.
The cut-line rule was changed in 2020. In the years 2014 to 2019, any player within 10 strokes of the lead would advance to play Rounds 3 and 4. However, this rule no longer applies.
