Every year, the Masters bursts through the door with its unmatched mythology and charm. It’s a highly anticipated event that sports bettors eagerly await all year.

Masters hole-in-one props

The Masters hole-in-one prop bet is a straightforward market with two options: Yes or No.

Augusta National has four par 3 holes.

• Fourth hole – Flowering Crab Apple (240 yards)
• Number 6 – Juniper Hole (180 yards)
• 12th Hole: Golden Bell (155 yards)
• The sixteenth hole is known as Redbud and measures 170 yards.

Out of the 34 holes-in-one in Masters history, 24 have been at No. 16, with only one ace recorded at No. 4.

Padraig Harrington and Kirk Triplett are famously known for both hitting holes-in-one on the 16th hole during the final round of the 2004 Masters tournament.

DraftKings offered odds on every player achieving a hole-in-one at the 2024 Masters, with the lowest odds being +6000 for Scottie Scheffler.

For the second year in a row, the “No” option at bet365 won in the simple Yes/No market on whether any player would make a hole-in-one during the tournament.

BetMGM offered bets on individual players making a hole-in-one on a specific hole or round, while FanDuel had markets for multiple players making holes-in-one throughout the 2024 Masters. Unfortunately, no hole-in-ones were made, resulting in all bets being graded as losses.

Winning nationality props

Nationality props have become increasingly popular at regular PGA Tour events, but they are particularly captivating during the Masters and the other three major tournaments.

Simply put, these markets focus on specific nationalities or regions within the field of golf, rather than the overall betting market. All you have to do is choose the golfer who you think will have the best score among players from that specific group. The odds are usually lower than the outright market because the player pool is smaller.

Masters cut line props

Early in the tournament week, Underscoregs will release projected cut odds for the Masters. Individual golfers will have their own odds for making the cut, and there will be Over/Under markets available for the cut number.

The Over/Under total for the 2024 Masters on bet365 was set at 148. The Over was priced at +350, the Under at -150, and the exact score at +250.

Masters playoff props

If two players are deadlocked at the end of 72 holes, they will compete in a playoff to decide the tournament winner. At DraftKings, you can wager on the possibility of a playoff happening and how many players will be involved. Scheffler won by four strokes, resulting in a -500 odds on the “No” option winning, while bets on the number of players in the playoff all lost.

In 17 out of 88 editions of The Masters, a playoff has been required. The playoff format is sudden-death, and the most recent playoff took place in 2017 when Sergio Garcia won the tournament by making a birdie on the first playoff hole against Justin Rose.

Wire-to-wire winner props

Winning a wire-to-wire golf tournament entails leading the competition after all four rounds of play. At the Masters, there have been five such winners. The wire-to-wire winner proposition can be found as a two-way market with Yes and No options, or as a one-way market, depending on the sportsbook.

After leading the 2024 Masters following the first round, Bryson DeChambeau was unable to maintain his position and secure the title. Scottie Scheffler had the best odds at +2800 to lead from start to finish.

Nick Price set the Masters 18-hole record of 63 (minus-9) in 1986, which was later matched by Greg Norman in 1996.

During the final round of the 2022 Masters, Rory McIlroy recorded a score of 64, the lowest 18-hole score of the tournament. This marked the lowest single-round score since Jason Day, Tony Finau, and Patrick Cantlay all shot 64s during Round 3 of the 2019 Masters.

In 2020, Dustin Johnson broke the 72-hole record with a score of 268 (minus-20) over four rounds. It is important to mention that the 2020 Masters took place in November, rather than its usual April timeframe.

Tiger Woods and Jordan Spieth have a combined total of 270 (minus-18) for 72 holes, which is the second lowest in history. Woods achieved this score in 1997, while Spieth accomplished it in 2015.

Masters double eagle props

A double eagle, also called an albatross, is achieved by scoring three strokes under par on a single hole. This can happen by hitting a hole-in-one on a par 4 or holing out with the second shot on a par 5.

In Masters history, there have been four double eagles, a number that remained unchanged in 2024.

DraftKings and BetMGM are offering betting markets on the possibility of a double eagle, also known as an Albatross, during the entire tournament for all players.

Winning score props

The winning score prop for the Masters is set by oddsmakers at 275.5. DraftKings is offering odds of +100 for the Over and -120 for the Under.

This year, Underscoregs also offer props for predicting the margin of victory, with four strokes paying out at +350.

First-time-winner props

Three golfers have achieved victory at the Masters in their debut appearance. It should be mentioned that two of these players claimed victory in the first two Masters tournaments held in 1934 and 1935.

In 1979, Fuzzy Zoeller became the most recent debutant to win in his first appearance at the Masters.

Since it is uncommon for a first-time participant at Augusta National to win the Masters, bettors may have more success in betting on the Top Debutant instead. Despite this trend, there have been several notable debut performances in the last two decades.

First-round props

The first-round leader is decided after the initial round of play, and the golfer with the lowest score after 18 holes is declared the winner. This market is widely followed in all tournaments because, while the top player may prevail over four rounds, there is greater unpredictability in just 18 holes of play.
