Lately, the Red Sox have been on fire with seven victories in their last eight games, and Devers has been the driving force behind their success. Despite dealing with a shoulder injury that has forced him to skip the All-Star Game next week, you wouldn’t be able to tell by watching him play.
Devers is having a hot July, hitting .393 with 23 total bases in seven games. He’s been on fire since June, averaging 2.6 total bases per game over his last 31 outings. This could be trouble for Oakland starter JP Sears, who has allowed 37 hits and five home runs in his last five starts.

In eight games, Yelich is hitting .400 with an on-base percentage of .500 and a slugging percentage of .867. He has accumulated 26 total bases so far. Yelich has also rediscovered his power, hitting three home runs in July, and it’s only the 10th of the month.
In his previous start against the Brewers, Martin Perez allowed 11 hits, nine earned runs, and five home runs while pitching for the Pirates.
Perez’s favorite pitch is also the one that Yelich excels at hitting. Yelich has a .357 average when facing sinkers. If he gets his sixth 2-hit game since June 30, a $10 bet would result in a $21 profit.
