The NFL postseason features two playoff games on both Sunday and Monday, and we provide top player props and bets based on the latest NFL odds.

The drama has already unfolded in the first few games of NFL Wild Card Weekend, and there are plenty of storylines to look forward to in the remaining games. Some of the top stars in the postseason will have revenge games after Saturday’s victories by the Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs.

The first game on Sunday will see Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy facing his former team, the Green Bay Packers. Later on, Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford and Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff will go head-to-head, having been traded for each other three years ago.

In addition to our predictions for the NFL Wild Card Weekend games, we have also included player props, top bets, and picks for the weekend (odds sourced from top NFL betting sites; confidence ratings on a scale from 1 to 5 stars).

Prop bets for NFL Wild Card Weekend player performances

Amon-Ra St. Brown to score a touchdown against the Rams is listed at +120 on bet365. This is a three-star bet.

The Detroit Lions are favored to win by field goals in a game that is expected to have the highest total score of the weekend (Over/Under 51.5). They will need to put up points against the Los Angeles Rams, who had the second-highest points per game average in the NFL from Weeks 12-17 (31.3), excluding Week 18 when they rested starters. DraftKings has set the Lions’ team total touchdowns at Over/Under 3.5, indicating they are expected to score multiple times. With tight end Sam LaPorta out with a knee injury, Amon-Ra St. Brown could see increased opportunities in the game.

St. Brown’s fantasy points per game average of 25.5 since Week 15 can be attributed to his significant 30% target share and 36% air yard share during that time. He has received at least eight targets in each of his last five games and has caught a touchdown pass in four consecutive games.

This play is rated three stars because no other Lions receiver or tight end, aside from LaPorta, has received more than 18% of targets per route run or has a target share higher than 11%. As a result, we anticipate St. Brown being heavily targeted in this game. If LaPorta is unable to play, this rating would increase to four stars, as he holds the rookie single-season record for receptions by a tight end with 86.

The +120 odds for St. Brown scoring a touchdown at bet365 are great compared to the -141 odds at BetRivers for the same bet.

Bet on Joe Flacco to throw less than 1.5 passing touchdowns against the Texans at -119 odds from Caesars. This pick is rated four stars and is a winner.

Joe Flacco has had a strong start with the Browns this season, going 4-1 in five starts with 13 touchdown passes and four 300-yard games. His standout performance came in a 36-22 victory against the Texans in Week 16, where he threw for 368 yards and three touchdowns with a season-high 87.9 QBR. Despite his success and nearing a record for most road playoff victories, DraftKings reports that the public is not favoring him as their top pick for various props. It is predicted that his upcoming game will be the first in a Browns uniform where he does not throw for multiple touchdowns.

During the initial game against the Texans, Flacco encountered man coverage on 26% of the plays, achieving an average of 14.2 yards per attempt with a 3-0 TD-INT ratio and a 99.8 Total QBR. Conversely, he faced zone coverage 74% of the time, resulting in an average of 6.8 yards per attempt with a 0-2 TD-INT ratio and a 72.7 Total QBR.

In general, Flacco’s QBR is 77 against man coverage and 34 against zone coverage this season. We anticipate that the Texans’ heavy use of zone coverage will likely result in Flacco having his worst statistical game of the season.

Predictions for the NFL Wild Card Weekend matchups

Four-star rating for the Chiefs/Bills moneyline parlay at -125 odds on BetRivers.

The Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills have faced off in the playoffs twice in the past three years, and there will be a third meeting if both teams win their games this weekend.

The Chiefs secured their part of the parlay by defeating the Miami Dolphins 26-7 on Saturday night.

The absence of T.J. Watt due to an MCL sprain is a huge advantage for the Buffalo Bills, who will face a Pittsburgh Steelers defense that has struggled without him. The Steelers have a record of 1-10 straight up in their last 11 games without Watt.

Pittsburgh excelled last season with Watt on the field, ranking first in QBR allowed (35), second in sack percentage (8.8%), and second in yards per play allowed (4.8). In Week 14, when Watt was sidelined with a concussion, the team’s defensive performance drastically changed.

During the 86% of plays where Watt was on the field, the Steelers only allowed a 38 QBR and a 38% third down conversion rate. However, when Watt was off the field for the remaining 14% of plays, the Steelers saw their QBR allowed increase to 64 and opponents were able to convert 63% of third downs, according to NFL Next Gen Stats.

Packers are 7.5 point underdogs against the Cowboys with odds of -110 from BetMGM, Caesars, and bet365. This is a three-star bet.

We greatly admire the Cowboys’ impressive undefeated home record this season, with a point differential of +172. However, it is important to note that two of Dallas’s last three home games were close one-possession games, and Green Bay is well-equipped to handle the pressure of the Cowboys’ pass rush.

Since Week 10, Dak Prescott boasts the highest QBR under pressure at 78, with Packers quarterback Jordan Love closely behind at 75. This is crucial given that the Cowboys’ defense led the league in pressure rate this season. Furthermore, the Packers have averaged 385.9 yards per game since Week 9, ranking fourth in the league.

We will only bet on Green Bay if the spread is +7.5 or higher. If it is +7, we will not place a wager. We can choose to place our bet at BetMGM, Caesars, or bet365.
