Predictions for the Panthers vs. Oilers matchup in the SGP

Evan Bouchard is expected to have at least 1 assist in the game. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Evan Bouchard has been a standout performer for the Oilers at home during the playoffs, second only to Connor McDavid in productivity. Out of his 28 points, 18 have been scored at Rogers Place, with 14 assists coming from plays on home ice. Bouchard’s contributions from the point on power plays and in establishing a forecheck have been vital to the team’s success.

He is expected to play a significant amount of time on the ice in Game 3 and is likely to be especially driven to redeem himself after his costly mistake in Game 2, which directly resulted in Evan Rodrigues’ winning goal.

Bouchard has recorded an assist in five out of the last six games at Rogers Place. FanDuel is offering -120 odds for this part of the parlay, indicating a 54.55% chance of success.

Leon Draisaitl is projected to have over 2.5 shots on goal with a four-star rating.

Can the real Draisaitl please step up? He was leading the Oilers in scoring during the first half of the postseason, but his production has significantly dropped since the start of the Western Conference Final. Draisaitl has only recorded four points in the last eight games and is averaging 2.25 shots per game during this slow period.

Draisaitl will need to seize Game 3 as his final opportunity to rediscover his peak performance from the earlier rounds. With a slight increase in productivity at home, he should be aiming to challenge Bobrovsky consistently alongside his fellow teammates.

Even though he has been facing difficulties, he has managed to take at least three shots on goal in 13 out of 20 playoff games. FanDuel is offering odds of -144 for this part of the proposition, indicating a 59.02% chance.

Sergei Bobrovsky is expected to make more than 24.5 saves ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I anticipate Bobrovsky will be just as active in Game 3 as he was in Game 1. The Oilers need to increase their shots on goal if they want to have a chance of winning. Despite the higher workload, Bobrovsky’s strong play suggests he will not be fazed. With 32 saves in his shutout in Game 1, he is expected to be in top form once again on Thursday.

The Oilers are expected to maintain their average of 30.3 shots per game on home ice during the postseason. I believe this prop bet will be successful if the Oilers can achieve 28 or more shots. This part of the parlay has odds of -125, indicating a 55.56% chance of success.
