Beal is currently experiencing a significant slump, as he has not reached his average of 17.4 points per game in the last eight games. He has scored 10 points or less in four of those games, notably only scoring seven points in the recent game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Beal has scored at least 15 points in seven of his last eight games and has improved his shooting in recent matchups. He has made three 3-pointers in three of his last four games and shot over 60% against the New Orleans Pelicans. This limits opponents’ rebounding opportunities. However, the Timberwolves have the best shooting defense in the league and are likely to make the Suns miss more shots than usual. This could benefit Gobert in the paint.
