As Round 2 of the Formula 1 season approaches, we are here to provide you with our Saudi Arabian Grand Prix picks and predictions, all based on the latest F1 odds from our top F1 betting sites.

The 2024 F1 season started with Max Verstappen extending his winning streak by claiming another first-place trophy. The reigning champion finished over 22 seconds ahead of his teammate Sergio Perez in Bahrain, showing that Red Bull’s dominance from the previous year had not been challenged by any other team during the offseason.

The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah is being visited by the F1 circuit for only the fourth time. Verstappen secured his second consecutive pole position on Friday before the race. Leclerc will join him on the front row, with Perez starting in third place. The winners of races in Jeddah have been Hamilton, Perez, and Verstappen.

The street circuit includes multiple high-speed corners and three DRS zones, all of which are advantageous for the Red Bull drivers. This is evident in the odds from our top sportsbooks, where Verstappen and Perez are currently leading.

These are our selections and forecasts for the 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, utilizing F1 odds for the Jeddah Corniche Circuit from our top sports betting platforms. Pick confidence is rated on a scale of 1 to 5 stars.

Saudi Arabian Grand Prix predictions

Favorite: Max Verstappen (-700 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Verstappen has been a dominant force in his sport over the past three seasons, achieving 44 wins and 56 podium appearances in 66 races. Since the 2021 season, he has led an impressive 2,270 laps, including a remarkable 1,003 in 2023.

After winning the season opener in Bahrain, Red Bull’s top driver enters this week on a high note. Not only did he secure victory in the race, but he also started from pole position, led every lap, and set the fastest lap of the day. Second-place finisher Sergio Perez crossed the finish line over 22 seconds behind Verstappen, who claimed the checkered flag.

The main disadvantage of placing a large bet on an overall winner, such as Verstappen, is the unpredictability of racing. Verstappen has only won one race out of three at this track. In 2023, his teammate Perez won the race after Verstappen faced qualifying issues and started in 15th place.

Long shot: Carlos Sainz (+2500 via Caesars)⭐⭐⭐

Correction: Sainz has been diagnosed with appendicitis and reserve driver Oliver Bearman will step in as his replacement.

Prop: VCARB double points finish (+400 via DraftKings)⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Visa Cash App RB F1 team, formerly known as, now includes drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda. In the recent Bahrain race, they finished just 15 seconds outside of the points in 13th and 14th place. The race ended with some drama as the team instructed Tsunoda to switch positions with Ricciardo.

The replacement driver stepped in for Nyck de Vries after 11 races in the 2023 season. He participated in seven races with an average finish of 12.7 and managed to score points in one race. Despite narrowly missing out on a top-10 finish in Abu Dhabi, he did achieve a top-five result in Jeddah back in 2021 while racing for McLaren.

During the 2023 season, Tsunoda competed full-time for Alpha Tauri, achieving an average finish of 13.6 and scoring points in six races. Notably, three of these point-scoring finishes came in the final five races of the season. Despite his strong performances, Tsunoda narrowly missed out on points three times, including a close 11th-place finish in Jeddah.

Who has the pole for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix?

For the second consecutive race to kick off the 2024 season, Verstappen has secured pole position. The Red Bull powerhouse clocked a time of 1:27.472 during Friday’s third qualifying session, with Leclerc following closely behind at 1:27.791, and Perez not far behind with a time of 1:27.807.

Once more, both Red Bull cars are in the top three positions. The two McLarens are trailing closely behind, with Oscar Piastri in fifth and Lando Norris in sixth. George Russell and Lewis Hamilton are in seventh and eighth places for Mercedes.
