They have said goodbye to important players in free agency, such as Frank Clark, Orlando Brown, and JuJu Smith-Schuster, and their offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy has departed to join the Washington Commanders.

The Chiefs are the current powerhouse of the NFL, similar to the New England Patriots of the past. Matt Nagy will easily adapt to his new role as offensive coordinator, and the team is well-equipped to handle any roster changes. Despite losing star receiver Tyreek Hill last year, they still managed to come out on top and win the Super Bowl.

Chiefs to win AFC West (-160 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

K.C. has maintained their dominance in the AFC West since 2016, consistently winning the division title. Despite being the frontrunners, they may face tough competition from the Los Angeles Chargers and the improved Denver Broncos in the upcoming season.

However, if you are willing to take the risk and believe in the Chiefs’ potential, they are likely to secure a victory in their division. While they may face tougher competition in the conference and Super Bowl, it may not be wise to bet on them at such low odds.

We have discussed the Chiefs’ strong hold on the AFC West, but there are still more chances to benefit from Kansas City’s control over the division.

Next, the Chiefs will face off against the Chicago Bears, New York Jets, and Minnesota Vikings. Out of those teams, the Jets are expected to provide the toughest competition. With odds of 5/1, betting on the Chiefs to start the season 5-0 is a good option. Although they haven’t achieved this since 2018, their schedule is more difficult towards the end of the season.
