Our NBA All-Star Game predictions are centered around the top NBA odds for the upcoming game in Indianapolis.

The NBA All-Star Skills Competition on Saturday was exceptionally entertaining, and the weekend festivities are just getting started.

The NBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET is highly anticipated. It will feature the traditional format of the Eastern Conference versus the Western Conference, reverting back from the draft format used in recent years.

The Eastern Conference may face challenges due to the absence of several established stars, such as current league MVP Joel Embiid. Meanwhile, in the West, LeBron James achieves a historic milestone by earning his 20th All-Star appearance.

Facing off against LeBron and the Western Conference are a group of new talents such as Jalen Brunson, Tyrese Maxey, Paolo Banchero, and Scottie Barnes.

Although Doncic has had an impressive campaign, he is often overlooked in MVP discussions. Currently, he trails behind Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in NBA MVP odds, likely due to the Dallas Mavericks’ No. 7 seeding in the Western Conference. The All-Star Game presents an opportunity for Luka to prove his worth and demonstrate that he can contend with the other MVP contenders.

He finished the first half of the season strong, with averages of 35.7 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 1.05 assists in his last 13 games. Although forwards have dominated the previous seven All-Star Game MVPs, Doncic is expected to break that trend on Sunday.

The award is typically won by elite scorers, and nobody in the game can match Doncic’s scoring prowess. While he has only averaged seven points per game in his four previous All-Star Games, Doncic is playing at a whole new level in the 2026-24 season.

Over the past decade, the average age of the All-Star Game MVP has been 26.9 years old. With Doncic’s odds at +1900 being considered too long, we are instead placing our bet on the upcoming 25-year-old.

Luka Doncic Over 24.5 points (+960 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐

We are confident in Luka’s chances of winning MVP, so it only makes sense to consider this enticing points prop at +960. History has shown that All-Star Game MVPs typically put up impressive scoring numbers, with Steph Curry scoring 50 points in 2026 and Jayson Tatum setting a new single-game record with 55 points in 2026-24.

When was the last time an ASG MVP finished with fewer than 25 points? The most recent instance was in the 2013 All-Star Game, when Chris Paul scored 20 points, dished out 15 assists, and recorded four steals.

Between Paul’s 20-point performance in 2013 and Tatum’s explosive 55-point game in 2026, only LeBron James in 2018 scored fewer than 30 points as the ASG MVP with 29 points. While we can’t bet on Luka scoring over 29.5 points, we are confident in taking him at Over 24.5 points, which is the highest alternate line available. Only two All-Star Games in history have had a combined total of at least 366 points. These high-scoring games occurred in 2016 and 2017, which were the final two games played before the format changed to team captains and a playground-style draft.

The average point total during the playground-draft era was 324.8, significantly lower than before the 2016 ASG. Given recent and historical trends, we are not confident that the ASG will deviate from this pattern in the first year back to the old format. We predict the Under.

Giannis will once again serve as team captain for the upcoming season, aiming to guide his team to victory in his eighth All-Star appearance on Sunday. With an impressive scoring average of 25.1, he holds the record for the highest scoring average in All-Star game history. However, this average was slightly impacted by a two-point performance in the 2026-23 season when Giannis was injured and only managed to score a single basket. Despite this, the Greek Freak has averaged 29 points per game and reached the 30-point mark four times in the six games where he played a full allotment of minutes.

His points prop is set at 28.5 on our top sports betting websites, but we’re hoping for just one more point to improve our odds. While regular-season statistics may not always accurately predict All-Star Game performance, they do provide some insight into a player’s abilities. Giannis has been averaging over 30 points per game for two consecutive seasons, making him a strong contender for a big performance on Sunday.
