McCaffrey Over 4.5 receptions vs. Cowboys (+114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Since Week 7, McCaffrey’s stats have been so impressive that other players would be satisfied with them for an entire season. Since joining the 49ers, he has amassed 228 touches, 1,346 total yards, and 12 touchdowns. This has greatly contributed to the team ranking second in points per game (30.8) and first in points per game differential (+13.2) during that time period.

In five out of 11 games with the 49ers, he has surpassed the projected total. Additionally, he managed at least seven catches in three consecutive games before leaving the team. We rate this as a strong four-star play, especially considering the favorable odds. We anticipate head coach Kyle Shanahan will incorporate more short passes and screens to counter Dallas’s formidable pass rush, which boasted a 39% pressure percentage entering last week.

McCaffrey stood out among all players with at least 10 rushing attempts in the wild-card round, averaging nearly 5.0 rush yards over expected according to the NextGenStats RYOE Model. In comparison, no other running back came close, with none even averaging 2.5 yards. To further highlight McCaffrey’s talent, he was the only running back to accumulate over 100 all-purpose yards against the 49ers throughout the entire season. In a Week 5 matchup with the Carolina Panthers, McCaffrey recorded 104 yards in a 37-15 loss to San Francisco.

Last week, McCaffrey’s anytime touchdown odds were -140. This week at DraftKings, we are seeing a relative steal at -150 (it is as high as -160 at BetMGM) for a player who has scored at least once in seven consecutive games.
