For the second year in a row, the Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs will face off in the AFC Championship Game. The Bengals emerged victorious in last year’s matchup. Check out the player prop picks for Bengals vs. Chiefs based on the top NFL odds.

The focus this week has been on Patrick Mahomes’ ankle, but it appears he will be ready for the AFC title game. Despite injuring it in last week’s win against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Mahomes still managed to throw for 195 yards and two touchdowns. Travis Kelce had a standout performance with 14 catches for 98 yards and two touchdowns, and Isaiah Pacheco rushed for 95 yards on 12 carries.

The Bengals showed their dominance in the victory against the Buffalo Bills. Quarterback Joe Burrow threw for 242 yards and two touchdowns, while the depleted offensive line only allowed one sack. Running back Joe Mixon achieved over 100 yards rushing for the second time this season, and wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase successfully scored a touchdown for the third consecutive game.

Bengals vs. Chiefs player props

Kadarius Toney Under 35.5 receiving yards (-114 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Toney had his highest number of targets as a Chief last week, catching five out of seven passes. Despite this, he only gained 36 yards. In the eight games since joining the team, he has only been targeted 24 times. Although last week’s performance was unusual, bookmakers have increased his expected output for the upcoming game due to the belief that it will be a high-scoring matchup.

By signing up with FanDuel’s promo code and betting on Bengals vs. Chiefs picks, new users have the opportunity to bet $5 and receive $150 in bonus bets.

Nevertheless, as the Chiefs prioritize protecting Mahomes’ ankle, Toney may find himself on the sidelines more often, with multiple tight ends or running backs stepping in to block for Mahomes on plays.

Compare odds from different sources to find the most favorable ones. Currently, DraftKings offers odds of -135, while FanDuel offers -114. Despite the higher odds at DraftKings, we would still choose them if they had the best available number, as Toney is unlikely to be on the field or targeted enough to meet this total.

Ja’Marr Chase anytime touchdown scorer (-105 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

Chase has consistently demonstrated his ability to deliver impressive performances in crucial moments throughout the season. He has scored in both playoff games, adding to his impressive tally of nine touchdowns in the regular season. With a touchdown in three consecutive games and seven out of his last nine, Chase has proven to be a key player in making big plays when it matters most.

In his previous matchup with the Chiefs this season, he didn’t find the end zone, but he hauled in seven receptions for 97 yards. Since October began, he has been targeted at least eight times in every game he has played. Serving as Burrow’s top receiving option, especially in crucial areas like the middle of the field and the red zone, the odds of betting on him are more than favorable.

Joe Burrow Under 277.5 passing yards (-103) ⭐⭐⭐

Burrow has been playing exceptional football, but he has only surpassed 275 passing yards once in his last six games. In a previous matchup against the Chiefs this season, he was extremely efficient, completing 25 of 31 passes for 286 yards and two touchdowns.

However, due to Mahomes’ ankle injury, it is probable that the Chiefs will focus on running the ball more than usual, leading to longer drives and potentially limiting Burrow’s opportunities. Furthermore, if Mahomes is more injured than anticipated, the Bengals may have a chance to secure a victory without relying on Burrow to pass for over 250 yards.

DraftKings is currently offering a weekly special where Burrow throwing for 275-plus passing yards and Joe Mixon running for 60-plus rush yards is at +310. Despite Burrow being at -115 to cash his Over and Mixon at -120 to cash his Over of 58.5, this parlay seems like an easy win. However, DraftKings may be putting it out there because Burrow vs. the Chiefs suggests an Over, but considering Burrow’s performance this season and the fact that the Chiefs are only allowing 220.1 passing yards per game, the Under option starts to make more sense.
