The Washington Commanders journey to Mercedes-Benz Stadium to take on the Atlanta Falcons, with one of our key NFL player prop bets focusing on running back Brian Robinson Jr. Our picks are determined by the NFL odds provided by our top sports betting apps.

After winning their first two games, the Washington Commanders have now suffered three straight losses. Their most recent loss occurred at home last Thursday against the Chicago Bears. Despite the team’s struggles, QB Sam Howell had an outstanding game, completing 37 of 51 passes for 388 yards.

In Week 5, the Atlanta Falcons snapped a two-game losing streak by defeating the Houston Texans 21-19. Quarterback Desmond Ridder threw for over 300 yards for the first time in the game. Additionally, Falcons running back Bijan Robinson scored his first touchdown since Week 1, further solidifying his case for Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Here are our top player props for the Commanders vs. Falcons game in Week 6 of the NFL, along with our predictions and best bets for the week. Don’t forget to check out our Bijan Robinson player props as well, with odds from the top NFL betting sites and confidence ratings on a 1-5 star scale.

Commanders vs. Falcons NFL player props: Week 6

Brian Robinson Jr. anytime touchdown (+127 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐

Robinson had six carries for 10 yards in the first half of last week’s game, and he finished the game with the same stat line. Despite his team trailing throughout the game, Robinson was not utilized in what was expected to be a favorable matchup for him.

Robinson has scored three rushing touchdowns so far this season, narrowly missing a fourth against the Philadelphia Eagles two weeks ago. He will now go up against a defense that has only allowed one rushing touchdown all season. Despite the Falcons giving up numerous points, they have primarily been through passing plays.

The Commanders have scored five rushing touchdowns this season, with Robinson being the go-to player in the red zone. However, the odds currently listed at +100 are too low to provide any real value. It’s recommended to explore other options.

Desmond Ridder Under 204.5 passing yards (-110 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fresh off a standout performance against the Texans, Ridder had a career day. Houston’s defensive strategy focused on containing Bijan Robinson, which opened up more opportunities for Ridder to showcase his passing skills.

Nonetheless, we do not anticipate a similar level of success in the upcoming week. Ridder has only surpassed 204 passing yards twice so far this season. In the previous game, he made 37 pass attempts, resulting in the highest yardage total of his career. However, the number of attempts does not always translate to yards gained, as evidenced by his career-high 38 passing attempts resulting in just 201 yards in Week 3. This can be attributed to Ridder’s average of 10.5 yards per completion this season.

The Commanders’ defense allows an average of 133.6 rushing yards per game. We anticipate Robinson having a strong comeback performance, as the Falcons return to their strength of running the ball effectively.

Jahan Dotson Over 30.5 receiving yards (-110 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐

Dotson has not had a standout game so far this season, with only one game exceeding 40 receiving yards out of five. However, with consistent targets, he has the potential for a breakout performance in the near future.

He ranks second on the team with 30 targets, being targeted at least five times in all but one game. In his matchup against the Eagles two weeks ago, he saw nine targets.

Despite having numerous targets, Dotson continues to be one of Howell’s preferred weapons, although the two have struggled to connect. Dotson’s average of 8.2 yards per catch means he only needs four receptions to surpass this mark. Given the frequency of targets he receives, we are optimistic about his chances to achieve this.
