Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, aims to impress during the special Saturday edition of Sunday Night Football as they face off against the Los Angeles Chargers. Check out our top player prop bets for Josh Allen based on the most favorable NFL odds from leading sportsbooks.

The Bills are aiming for a spot in the NFL playoffs and hope to continue their winning streak as they travel to Los Angeles to take on the struggling Chargers.

After a devastating 63-21 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 15, Los Angeles made the decision to part ways with head coach Brandon Staley and general manager Tom Telesco.

During the Raiders’ dominant victory, quarterback Aidan O’Connell threw for 248 yards and four touchdown passes against the Chargers. This raises questions (and perhaps excitement or concern, depending on your allegiance) about what perennial MVP candidate Josh Allen will do against Los Angeles.

Alongside our NFL Week 16 picks and player props, we present our top Josh Allen player prop predictions for the Bills vs. Chargers Sunday Night Football game, with odds sourced from our trusted NFL betting sites. The confidence level of each pick is rated on a 1-to-5-star scale.

Josh Allen player props

Josh Allen Under 22.5 completions(-102 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐

Finding value in individual props for Allen on this unique Saturday night edition of Sunday Night Football may be challenging, but this particular prop stands out as the most promising option.

Prior to delving too deeply into the statistics, we have a strong indication that Allen will not exceed 22 passing completions. This is because he will likely not require to do so.

The Bills’ defense has been strong in three of the past four weeks, holding the Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, and New York Jets to a total of 33 points in their games. In those games, Allen completed only seven, 23, and 20 passes, respectively.

Regarding the data, it would be beneficial to consider betting on the Under once more this week.

Allen’s average projection from nine different models is 22.39. This projection gives us a small edge, with just over a 4.5% positive expected value by taking the Under at FanDuel. Additionally, there are other indicators that suggest we are making the right decision with this bet.

FanDuel stands out as the top sports betting app with higher juice on the Over compared to the Under. Pinnacle, a well-known trading team in the industry, has received substantial bets on the Under 22.5 passing attempts, leading to a price of -125.

The number given by Pinnacle is not the lowest odds for the Under among our top sports betting sites, with Caesars offering it at -127.

Josh Allen + Easton Stick Over 447.5 passing yards (-110 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐

Going back to a proven source of consistent success, the passing yardage bet has resulted in wins for two straight weeks. Chargers quarterback Easton Stick secured the victory for us in Week 15 with a 3-0 triumph on Thursday night.

We are betting on the Over for several of the same reasons as last week’s success. Stick appeared to struggle at times against the Raiders, but the large lead by Las Vegas allowed him to throw the ball freely in the second half without needing to rely on the running game. This upcoming game is expected to play out in a similar fashion.

BetMGM is providing a slightly reduced total passing yardage compared to bet365, with the market set at 452.5 yards. The Over option has higher odds at -115.

Allen and Stick have an average combined passing yards projection of 480.93, leaving a cushion of about 32 yards from the Over. Stick’s projection is on the conservative side at 227.37, but his highest projection is 249. Six out of the 10 models we used predict Stick to throw for over 230 passing yards.

Expect Allen to make an impact early on, while Stick will help us secure the win in the final moments of the game.

Josh Allen + Easton Stick Over 65.5 passing attempts (-105 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐

This wager is akin to the previous one, however instead of focusing on their combined passing completions, I will focus on the sheer number of passing attempts.

Stick, not Allen, is projected to have a higher number of passing attempts at an average of 34.22, compared to Allen’s 33.78. Together, they are projected to have a total of 68 passing attempts, exceeding the line by two attempts.

Out of our top sportsbooks, only bet365 offers this market, and their odds are quite reasonable. We will be placing our final bet on this prop at bet365 and you can maximize your potential winnings by using our exclusive bet365 bonus code: SBRBONUS!

Josh Allen’s player prop picks were made at 2 p.m. ET on Thursday.
