Stewart Serena, a betting analyst for Underscoreg Review, is supporting the San Francisco 49ers in Week 4 as he shares his top survivor picks based on the most recent NFL odds from our top sports betting apps.

Survivor contests and pools have seen a notable decrease in participants over the NFL’s first three weeks. Despite the seemingly simple task of picking a winner each week, the unpredictability of the NFL season continues to prove the difficulty of survivor pools.

Week 3 saw some surprising outcomes as top picks such as the Jacksonville Jaguars, Baltimore Ravens, and Dallas Cowboys let down pool participants. However, our position looks promising thanks to the Seattle Seahawks’ impressive 37-27 win over the Carolina Panthers at home.

I considered Dallas and the Philadelphia Eagles for Week 4, but ultimately decided to focus on the San Francisco 49ers in our NFL predictions. Be sure to check out our NFL upset picks, parlay picks, and player props for Week 4.

Below are our NFL Week 4 survivor picks to go along with our Week 4 NFL predictions.

Survivor picks NFL Week 4: Rankings

4. Cowboys (vs. Patriots)

The Dallas Cowboys won’t be caught off guard by the New England Patriots in Week 4, and I predict that the Cowboys’ pass rush will put pressure on Patriots QB Mac Jones from the start of the game on Sunday afternoon.

Furthermore, following a relatively easy game against the New York Jets in Week 3, the New England Patriots will now be facing a strong offensive team for the third time in four games as they travel to play the Dallas Cowboys. It is anticipated that Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott will score numerous points against the Patriots.

3. Eagles (vs. Commanders)

Let’s avoid criticizing the current NFC Champions and their perfect 3-0 record. The Eagles are excelling in the line of scrimmage, and their key players are making big plays on offense and defense.

During Week 3, Washington Commanders quarterback Sam Howell had a rough game, throwing four interceptions and being sacked nine times by the Buffalo Bills. Despite facing a tough opponent, Howell and the Washington offense are expected to perform better in their upcoming divisional matchup. However, their previous performance against a top NFL team in the 37-3 loss to the Bills raises concerns about their ability to compete with the league’s elite.

I am concerned that the Eagles may struggle in this divisional game with a short week ahead.

2. Chiefs (at Jets)

Amidst all the hype surrounding Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, and the Chiefs’ recent success, it’s easy to overlook the fact that Kansas City’s defense this season is possibly the strongest it has been in years. With quarterback Patrick Mahomes already leading the team to consecutive victories, the improved defense only adds to their winning potential.

With Kansas City confidently entering New York City with a growing fanbase and a strong, well-coached offense, I don’t see the struggling New York Jets and their quarterback Zach Wilson having much of a shot in Week 4.

Bengals (at Titans)

The Cincinnati Bengals, with a record of 1-2, just managed to squeak by the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3, while their quarterback Joe Burrow continues to struggle with a persistent calf injury. Next, they face a tough challenge on the road against a solid defense and seasoned head coach.

Furthermore, despite my usual recommendation to focus on the present, it is worth noting that the Cincinnati Bengals will face the Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans, and Indianapolis Colts in upcoming games. These matchups are expected to be more favorable for Cincinnati, particularly once Burrow has fully recovered.

Survivor picks NFL Week 3: My pick

1. 49ers (vs. Cardinals)

No matter how you look at it, the Cardinals have competed head-to-head with the NFC East in the first three weeks, and their impressive 28-16 home upset over the Cowboys as double-digit underdogs was a standout performance.

However, the Arizona Cardinals will likely struggle against San Francisco’s talented roster when they visit Levi’s Stadium. The 49ers have a plethora of playmakers who are excelling on offense and defense.

Although I am aware of the dangers of looking too far ahead, it is worth noting that the Niners have a challenging schedule ahead. They will face tough matchups against the Cowboys in Week 5 and the Bengals in Week 8.
