Legal sports gambling is on its way to Ohio in the next few months. The Cleveland Cavaliers and Caesars Entertainment, Inc. have revealed a multi-year partnership, naming Caesars Underscoreg as the “Official Sports Betting Partner” and Caesars Entertainment as the “Official Casino Partner” of the NBA organization.

As a component of the collaboration, a top-tier retail sportsbook will be established at street level inside the northwest atrium section of Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, where the Cavaliers play their home games.

Chris Holdren, Co-President of Caesars Digital, stated that they are prepared to welcome Ohio sports fans to the Caesars Empire and are also excited to make history with their second sportsbook at an NBA arena.

“We are thrilled to expand our partnership with the Cavaliers and build upon our existing relationship with Scioto Downs in Columbus. As we gear up to introduce sports betting in Ohio, this collaboration with the Cavs at such a pivotal moment in their franchise’s trajectory is incredibly exciting. The new Caesars Underscoreg at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse promises to offer a top-notch venue for sports betting and other entertainment, creating a dynamic space for fans to engage with our brand.”

At Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, the Caesars Underscoreg will offer betting windows for cash wagers. This expansive 10,355 square foot area includes wall-to-wall televisions, a VIP lounge, a full-service bar, and a diverse menu for guests to enjoy.

The Cavaliers and Caesars will cover all expenses.

Moreover, the sportsbook will operate year-round, independent of arena events, and will be accessible to both ticket holders and casual bettors. The anticipated opening date for the sportsbook is late 2026.

Caesars Underscoreg will have permission to use the official Cavaliers logo and marks, as well as access to broadcast and digital content on Cavs properties. They will also have television-visible in-game signage.

Additionally, Ohio residents will have the option to download the Caesars Underscoreg app to make bets across the Buckeye State once mobile betting becomes legal.
