NBA Player Props & Best Bets Today: Schedule, Picks for Wednesday
We have identified several player combinations for Wednesday’s six-game NBA slate and have selected our top player props and best bets based on the most favorable NBA odds.
Despite a strong start to the week with our NBA player props, we went 1-3 on Tuesday, bringing our overall record to .500. However, we are not discouraged and are looking forward to a six-game slate on Wednesday with plenty of valuable opportunities.
To start, Toronto Raptors’ rising star Scottie Barnes will have a favorable matchup at home against the Dallas Mavericks. Next, we turn our attention to Rudy Gobert, who will be in action as the Minnesota Timberwolves take on the Memphis Grizzlies in a game that looks promising for the front-runner for Defensive Player of the Year.
In Colorado, the Sacramento Kings will clash with the Denver Nuggets, where the NBA’s triple-double leaders are set to go head-to-head. And in a heated hometown rivalry, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers will face off against the Los Angeles Clippers with no love lost.
Below are our NBA player props and top bets for Wednesday. These NBA picks are based on odds from our preferred NBA betting sites, with confidence levels rated on a scale of 1 to 5 stars.

Wednesday’s NBA player props
Scottie Barnes Over 35.5 points + rebounds + assists vs. Mavericks (-118 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Barnes is coming off a recent triple-double in his previous game, recording 21 points, 12 rebounds, and 12 assists against the Indiana Pacers. In his last seven games, he has averaged 37.5 points, rebounds, and assists (PRA) and reached at least 36 in three of them. When playing at home, Barnes has averaged 36.2 PRA compared to 32.5 on the road. He has achieved at least 36 PRA in 22 games this season.
Opponents have found success against Dallas this season, with the Mavs ranking second in points allowed, 10th in rebounds allowed, and 10th in assists allowed.
Barnes recorded 14 points, 14 rebounds, and seven assists in his last game against Dallas in November. We are betting on the Over for Wednesday’s game at FanDuel, especially if Jakob Poeltl (ankle) is unable to play.

Rudy Gobert Over 14.5 rebounds vs. Grizzlies (+115 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐
Gobert has recorded nine consecutive double-doubles and has averaged 14.4 rebounds during that stretch. In those nine games, he has grabbed at least 15 rebounds five times, with his last two games being included in that count. He currently has 19 games this season with at least 15 boards, and we believe he will continue this trend on Wednesday.
This game is ideal for rebounders, as the Grizzlies have given up the third-highest number of rebounds to their opponents at 54.3. In three games against Memphis this year, Gobert reached this milestone once by snagging 20 rebounds in a game in December. His average of 13 rebounds at home is slightly higher than his average of 12.4 on the road.

Domantas Sabonis triple-double vs. Nuggets (+150 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐
Two of the greatest passing centers in basketball history, the NBA’s current triple-double leader and last season’s top performer in that category, will go head-to-head in a highly anticipated matchup.
In his last 12 games, Domantas Sabonis has consistently recorded impressive stats with an average of 20.5 points, 14.3 rebounds, and 10.7 assists. He has achieved a triple-double in nine of these games, including his last three consecutive games.
He has achieved 21 triple-doubles this season, and his 20th on Sunday placed him in the elite company of NBA legends such as Russell Westbrook, Oscar Robertson, Wilt Chamberlain, James Harden, and Nikola Jokic, who are the only players in NBA history to have recorded at least 20 triple-doubles in a single season.
Sabonis has been putting up impressive numbers against Denver this season, averaging 18 points, 15 rebounds, and eight assists in three games, including one triple-double. We believe he has a good chance of getting another one on Wednesday.
Nikola Jokic triple-double vs. Kings (+120 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐
Jokic has accumulated 123 triple-doubles, ranking fourth all-time. He achieved this feat in just 652 games, posting a triple-double in 18.8% of his career games, the highest percentage in history.
Sabonis has been extremely productive in his last 12 games, but Jokic has also been outstanding. During this stretch, Jokic has averaged 25.9 points, 13.4 rebounds, and 9.8 assists, recording five triple-doubles. Similar to Sabonis, Jokic enters this game with three consecutive triple-doubles.
In the three games played against Sacramento this season, he has averaged 24.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 9.7 assists, including one triple-double.
Sabonis is currently ahead of Jokic 21-18 in triple-doubles for this season, but Jokic has a 47-35 lead over the past two seasons combined. Over the span of the last three seasons, both Jokic and Sabonis have been leading the league in triple-doubles. With their history of impressive performances, we are excited to see both players potentially extend their streaks in the upcoming marquee matchup on Wednesday.
LeBron James Over 38.5 points + rebounds + assists vs. Clippers (-108 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐
Since joining the Lakers, James has consistently performed well against the Clippers, averaging 42 PRA in 16 matchups. He has achieved at least 39 PRA in 11 of those games, including both matchups this season. We are confident in taking the Over once more.
LeBron has achieved this milestone in two consecutive games following the All-Star break, and he has accomplished it in four out of his last five games overall.
James’ availability for Wednesday is in doubt due to an ankle injury, although this is not a new issue. He has been able to play through the injury in the past, so we anticipate he will be able to do so again.
The Lakers start their back-to-back games with a matchup against the Clippers on Wednesday, followed by a game against the struggling Washington Wizards on Thursday. In order to ensure they are fully prepared for the game against the Wizards, the Lakers may choose to rest James for one of the two matchups.
The top NBA picks were made on Wednesday at 6:15 a.m. Eastern Time.
