He has achieved 30 or more points in five of his last seven games, and he scored 26 points on Saturday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Oddsmakers could have set the score at 28.5, and bettors would have likely bet on the over. However, they set it at 26.5 and even offered an attractive price for the over.

Why are we choosing to take the Under?

Davis primarily scores inside, which happens to be the Celtics’ strong suit. They are only giving up an average of 45.1 points in the paint per game, ranking fourth in the league.

Despite the possibility of Davis scoring well in this game, facing a tough opponent makes it unlikely for him to exceed his season average. We hope to secure a better price, but we are still willing to bet at -125.

James has tallied a minimum of seven assists in his last five games, with at least nine assists in four of them. Despite his impressive performance, the Celtics are formidable in defense against assists, only allowing an average of 24 per game.

James has been averaging 9.5 assists per game this season, a significant improvement from his averages of 6.3 in November and 6.5 in October. The Celtics are known for being able to bring players back down to or below their season averages if they are playing well.
