Celtics vs. Mavericks Parlay: SGP Odds, Predictions for Game 4
The Boston Celtics are close to eliminating the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals, and we’ve compiled our top parlay predictions for the Celtics vs. Mavericks matchup in Game 4 on Friday, using the most favorable NBA odds available.
The Dallas Mavericks find themselves in a dire situation in the NBA Finals, trailing 3-0 to the Boston Celtics as they head into Game 4 at American Airlines Center in Dallas on Friday at 8:30 p.m. ET (ABC). Luka Doncic will have to step up and redeem himself after a disappointing performance in Game 3.
Despite being the favorites to win the NBA championship, the Celtics are currently 1-point underdogs for Game 4 on the road. Although Dallas may prevent a sweep, no team has ever come back from a 0-3 deficit in the NBA Finals. With Doncic no longer playing at an MVP level, the odds are against the Mavericks.
Here are our top Celtics vs. Mavericks parlay predictions for Game 4, in addition to our player props. These picks are based on odds from our recommended NBA betting sites and are rated on a scale of 1 to 5 stars for confidence.

SGP predictions for Celtics vs. Mavericks
Luka Doncic to record a double-double ⭐⭐⭐⭐
It seems like only yesterday that Doncic had the entire league believing in the Mavericks’ championship potential after defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder and Minnesota Timberwolves on their way to the Finals. Now, it’s hard to believe that anyone ever thought Dallas could defeat Boston.
Despite his costly foul in Game 3, Doncic’s defense, shooting, and turnover problems have been significant issues. However, he continues to put up impressive numbers against a top defensive team, largely due to his high usage rate reminiscent of a running back from the 1960s.
His impressive performance has led to him achieving a double-double in 15 out of 20 games this postseason, including four of his last five games. Betting on him to do it again is a reliable way to begin this Same Game Parlay, as the -225 odds suggest a 69.23% chance of winning, as per our odds converter.
Jayson Tatum Under 3.5 made 3-pointers ⭐⭐⭐⭐
As a result of his outstanding performance, Doncic has been scheduled for sit-down interviews before Game 4 as part of a public relations strategy to mitigate the controversy surrounding his questionable charge attempt and subsequent outburst.
In the meantime, Tatum’s struggles on the court have led him to seek alternate methods of influencing the game.
Despite his strong performance in Game 3 of the Finals, Tatum struggled with his shooting outside of the first quarter, only making 2 out of 9 three-point attempts in the final three quarters. Throughout the postseason, Tatum has only hit more than three 3-pointers in a game twice. His three-point shooting percentage in the playoffs is a disappointing 29.1%.
I am surprised that this line is being offered, even at short odds, considering how rarely he has made over 3.5 threes. While it may be difficult to bet on this straight, the price is ideal for including in a Same Game Parlay, with a 61.54% chance of winning this leg.
Al Horford Over 0.5 block ⭐⭐⭐⭐
It is quite poetic to witness Al Horford nearing the end of his quest for an NBA championship after winning two titles at Florida. Despite 17 years of chasing that same feeling in the NBA, the 38-year-old Horford continues to play a crucial role for Boston.
With Kristaps Porzingis sidelined for most of the playoffs due to injury, Al Horford has been filling in admirably as a floor spacer and rim-protector. He has been averaging a block per game against the Mavs and has accumulated 13 blocks in his last eight playoff appearances. Porzingis remains questionable for Game 4.
If Porzingis is sidelined once again, Horford is expected to see increased playing time and chances for shot-blocking. These odds suggest a 68.75% chance of winning and raise the SGP to +240. A successful $10 bet at +240 odds would pay out $34, with a 29.41% likelihood of each leg hitting.
SGP picks for the Celtics-Mavericks game were made on Friday at 10:30 a.m. ET.
