Not only is bet365 operating in Ohio, but it is also having an immediate impact.

Earlier this week, the Cleveland Guardians announced a partnership agreement with one of the world’s most reputable sports betting sites, further expanding its U.S. portfolio.

A bet365 spokesperson expressed excitement about partnering with the Guards and launching the world’s favorite online sports betting brand in Ohio. They highlighted the rich history of the Guardians in the Cleveland community and looked forward to being a part of their promising future.

After successful launches in New Jersey and Colorado, bet365 is now entering the Ohio sports betting market as its third state debut. Although not among the first sports betting sites in New Jersey and Colorado, bet365 is looking to establish a strong presence in Ohio from the beginning, aiming to capture a significant market share.

In a statement, Ted Baugh, Vice President of Corporate and Premium Partnerships for the Guardians, expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with bet365 as their exclusive mobile sports betting partner and extending a warm welcome to them in the State of Ohio.

Our organization has a strong connection with bet365, a global leader in online gambling with almost 90 million registered customers worldwide. This partnership will offer our fans a reliable source to enhance our organization’s success both on and off the field.

The long-term agreement will officially begin on Jan. 21, with bet365 making their debut at Guards Fest – the team’s yearly event to kick off the upcoming season with the support of fans. To gain entry to the exclusive bet365 lounge, fans can sign up in advance, but they must be at least 21 years old.

“We are excited to connect with Guards fans at Guards Fest,” stated a spokesperson from bet365. “The Guardians have a dedicated and enthusiastic fan base, and we look forward to organizing fan-centered events that show our appreciation for the loyal Cleveland baseball supporters.”

Being on the side of the Guardians is a smart move right now, as they clinched the American League Central title last year for the first time since 2018. According to the latest MLB odds from bet365, Cleveland is listed as a +1500 choice to win the AL pennant and +3000 to secure the World Series championship.

The partnership is the most recent in a string of significant advancements for bet365 in the United States.

Earlier this week, the company announced a multi-year agreement with Churchill Downs to provide mobile sports betting in Pennsylvania. Additionally, bet365 revealed in late 2022 that they will be offering New Jersey sports betting fans the first non-tournament esports competitive gaming products through a partnership with SIS Limited.
