Euro 2024 details

The Euro 2024 tournament is scheduled to kick off on June 14 and will continue until July 14. Germany will host the event in 10 different cities, welcoming 24 teams from various European countries. The teams will be divided into six groups and will compete in a round-robin format from June 14 to June 26. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Round of 16 Knockout stage, while the six third-placed teams will be ranked, with the top four also progressing to the Round of 16.

The Euro 2020 tournament was rescheduled to 2021 because of the worldwide pandemic, disrupting its usual four-year schedule. Italy claimed their second title in the competition by defeating England 3-2 in a penalty shootout. Cristiano Ronaldo from Portugal was named the top scorer of the tournament, scoring five goals and providing an assist.

After this year’s tournament ends, the four-year cycle will continue, with the 2028 tournament scheduled to take place in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

2024 Copa America details

The 2024 Copa America will kick off right after the Euro, beginning on June 20 and concluding on July 14. Sixteen teams from CONMEBOL and CONCACAF will compete in 14 host cities across the United States.

Because there are fewer teams competing, there are only four groups of four. Similar to the Euro, they will play a round-robin format with the top two teams from each group moving on to the quarterfinals.

In 2021, Argentina claimed victory for the 15th time by defeating host Brazil 1-0 with a scoreless performance. Lionel Messi of Argentina and Luis Diaz of Colombia both ended the tournament with four goals each. It is no wonder that Argentina and Brazil are the frontrunners in the 2024 Copa America odds, with Messi being the favorite for the top goal scorer title in Copa America 2024.
