BetMGM Secures Two Awards at EGR North America 2024

Earlier this week, BetMGM, a leading iGaming and sports betting operator, was named Sports Betting Operator of the Year and Employer of the Year at the prestigious EGR North America Awards 2024. These accolades solidify BetMGM as one of the top sports betting sites and online casinos for real money gaming.

The EGR Awards show for this year, which honored the most successful and innovative online gaming companies in North America, took place on June 27 at Midtown Loft & Terrace in New York City.

BetMGM was honored with the Sports Betting Operator of the Year award for its innovative strategies in a highly competitive industry. This recognition was in part due to the company’s strategic partnerships with X (formerly Twitter) and Marriott Bonvoy. Additionally, BetMGM’s expanded betting options were highlighted, thanks to its parent company Entain’s acquisition of sports pricing and analytics firm Angstrom in 2023.

Employer of the Year

BetMGM was awarded Employer of the Year for its commitment to enhancing employee performance. Throughout 2023, the company introduced advanced training initiatives, prioritized diversity and inclusion education, and placed a strong emphasis on career growth opportunities.

In 2018, BetMGM was established through a collaboration between MGM Resorts International and Entain Holdings. The sportsbook operates under licenses in 29 US states, while its online casino is operational in six out of seven states where iGaming is permitted. Additionally, BetMGM holds licenses in the Ontario sports betting and online casino markets, as well as in the UK.
