BetMGM, Wheel of Fortune Celebrate Show’s 8,000th Episode with ‘Nightly Progressive Jackpot’

This week, Wheel of Fortune will achieve a historic milestone with its 8,000th episode spanning 41 seasons. One of the top sports betting sites is eager to join in on the excitement.

BetMGM will sponsor a Nightly Progressive Jackpot during the show’s “Big Money Week,” running from Monday to Friday. The jackpot will be awarded to any contestant who solves the bonus puzzle in addition to their winnings.

This is the debut of Wheel of Fortune showcasing a bonus puzzle after the main puzzle to end the show, as well as the introduction of a jackpot sponsored by a top sports betting app in the game show’s history.

Adam Greenblatt, CEO of BetMGM, expressed his gratitude for being a part of the iconic Wheel of Fortune during its milestone week. He mentioned that the collaboration for “Big Money Week” allows contestants and viewers to enjoy the thrill of a progressive jackpot.

BetMGM’s latest move is aimed at growing its market share and attracting new customers through enticing sportsbook promotions. Earlier this year, the company announced that its progressive jackpot for New Jersey sports betting had reached a record-breaking $4 million, making it the largest jackpot ever offered by the operator.

BetMGM cashing in on Wheel of Fortune’s historic week

BetMGM will not only sponsor the progressive jackpot but will also have a prominent presence in this week’s significant episodes of the enduring game show.

The wheel will have two BetMGM “Double Jackpot” wedges which give contestants the opportunity to double the Nightly Progressive Jackpot if they solve the bonus puzzle. A “jackpot ticker” above the puzzle board will display the potential winnings in the bonus round.

The sportsbook will feature co-branded graphics on the center monitor and in-show displays of the BetMGM logo for host Pat Sajak, who will retire after the June 7 show.

BetMGM and Wheel of Fortune have collaborated for promotional purposes on multiple occasions in the past.
