Staying ahead in the fiercely competitive U.S. legal sports betting industry is crucial as new and innovative products are constantly being introduced.

Caesars and Fanatics have teamed up with Genius Sports to introduce an NFL live streaming service as part of their strategy to stand out in the competitive U.S. legal sports betting market and gain traction on top sports betting apps.

On Tuesday, BetVision was introduced as a unique service for American bettors, offering the opportunity to stream NFL games through the Fanatics or Caesars app. Access is granted to registered users of the product.

This marks the completion of a pilot project conducted by Caesars earlier this month, where they tested a Watch & Bet feature for specific NFL games. Despite experiencing some unflattering and inconsistent low latency during the study, Caesars decided to officially launch the feature on Tuesday.

What is BetVision?

Introducing BetVision, the innovative new offering from Genius Sports, the NFL’s authorized data provider. This groundbreaking product allows football enthusiasts and bettors to simultaneously watch NFL games and place bets on a single screen, provided they have accounts with Fanatics, Caesars, and soon BetRivers.

Mark Locke, CEO of Genius Sports, stated that BetVision is spearheading a new era of engaging sports experiences by combining data tracking, video streaming, live data, and sports wagering capabilities to revolutionize the sportsbooks industry.

Genius Sports not only provides sportsbooks and bettors with a new way to engage fans, but also strengthens their already strong partnership with the NFL, a key player in the U.S. legal sports betting industry.

BetVision offers users a video feed of regional game broadcasts in specific markets, along with pop-up graphics displaying real-time stats, betting odds, and opportunities from top sportsbooks. This unique feature combines live streaming with bet slips that clients can fill out to place their wagers.

BetVision is considered the most recent advancement in the U.S. legal sports betting industry, elevating the overall betting experience and providing a more personalized approach. With BetVision, users can enjoy a seamless betting experience by watching the game and placing bets on the same screen.

Mark Locke, CEO of Genius Sports, touted BetVision as a means for sportsbooks to increase engagement and enhance the expansion of in-game betting.

In order to access live streaming options with participating sportsbooks, a minimum bet is necessary, whether it be a pre-game wager, in-game bet, parlay, or prop bet.

How it benefits sportsbooks

As previously stated, providing innovative betting options for Fanatics and Caesars customers could significantly impact the two sportsbooks. They are striving to capture a significant portion of the market share currently dominated by DraftKings and FanDuel in the US.

Kenneth Fuchs, Chief Operating Officer and Head of Sports at Caesars Digital, expressed our passion for providing customers with an engaging and enjoyable real-time betting experience. This includes play-by-play markets, lightning-fast scoreboards, in-game video highlights, and notifications for key betting moments.

BetVision is committed to assisting betting sites in not only acquiring new customers but also in retaining them through the use of the fan engagement product.

How it benefits the NFL and bettors

It is clear that the sports betting market has significantly increased revenue for the NFL, as the league has consistently promoted betting as a way to improve the enjoyment of football (and other sports) for fans. This has led to higher levels of fan engagement.

According to Brent Lawton, Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Investments for the NFL, BetVision enables us to offer fans a unique way to interact with NFL content.

He also expressed his satisfaction in being Genius’ inaugural content partner for BetVision, noting that they are at the forefront of innovative sports betting experiences.

The Genius Sports BetVision product is a win-win for everyone, now accessible to users of Fanatics and Caesars. Other betting platforms are sure to join soon, it’s only a matter of time.
