This week, the frenzy of partnership deals in the U.S. legal sports betting industry continues. Caesars Underscoreg, known for being one of the most proactive sports betting operators in promoting its brand, made the biggest and most significant announcement.

After forming partnerships with the New Orleans Saints’ Superdome, college football’s Fiesta Bowl, and the LSU Tigers of the NCAA, among others, Caesars announced a sponsorship deal this week with the Mannings – Archie, Peyton, Eli, and Cooper, the NFL’s first quarterbacking family.

The partnership with the Mannings in their home state of Louisiana is not only beneficial for Caesars’ efforts to increase market share, but is also anticipated to elevate the company’s national profile during a prosperous period for the sports betting industry in the United States.

Chris Holdren, co-president of Caesars Digital, noted that the partnership between a sports betting company and major talent is not typical. He expressed excitement about welcoming the most acclaimed family in football history – Archie, Peyton, Eli, and Cooper – into the Caesars family. Holdren praised the Manning family as extraordinary individuals who are champions of their communities, and stated that Caesars is honored to partner with such a prestigious group.

Some details of the deal

Caesars Underscoreg plans to leverage the Mannings’ strong presence in the NFL community. The popular hosts of the “ManningCast” on ESPN2 during Monday Night Football games, Peyton and Eli Manning, along with their father and college-quarterback brother, will now represent the sportsbook brand.

A statement announced that the Mannings will appear in advertising, attend live events, and make commercial appearances. The signing will also be connected to the Caesars Rewards program, allowing participants to engage with the Mannings in a variety of ways.

Peyton Manning expressed his excitement about teaming up with Caesars Underscoreg, mentioning their shared passion for sports and football. He looks forward to engaging with their customers and acknowledges Caesars’ commitment to community impact and support for important causes.

Why the Mannings?

It has been a few years since a Manning last played in an NFL game, but they continue to be prominent figures in the sport. Peyton and Eli, known for their success on the field, have also become popular post-football celebrities through their involvement in advertising campaigns for companies such as Nationwide, MasterCard, Sprint, DirecTV, and Papa John’s. Additionally, their Monday Night Football broadcast has been highly successful.

The Mannings have been a fixture in the NFL for many years. Father Archie and sons Peyton and Eli have collectively played in 28 seasons and 653 games. Together, they have achieved four Super Bowl championships, 20 Pro Bowl selections, 152,874 passing yards, and 1,030 passing touchdowns.

The Mannings had already established connections with Caesars as Manning’s Sports Bar & Grill is located within Caesars-owned Harrah’s New Orleans. Becoming ambassadors for the Caesars brand was a natural progression for the football family.

Shrewd move

Caesars is a top-tier sports betting provider in the U.S. market for good reason. The company has strategically positioned itself as a leader in the betting world, and bringing on the popular Mannings only solidifies that reputation.

Caesars sees the Mannings as a crucial component of their powerful brand, while the Mannings view the deal as an opportunity to strengthen their deep ties to the game they have been involved in for the majority of their lives.
