Bengals vs. Bills Preview

Tonight, either the Bengals’ nine-game winning streak or the Bills’ eight-game winning streak will be broken. Buffalo is the favorite with a -240 moneyline and a 5-point spread over Cincinnati, who has a +200 moneyline. The total points for the game is set at 48.5.

Buffalo Bills 

The Bills narrowly defeated the Miami Dolphins last week by just one field goal, despite being heavy favorites to win by 14 points. Even though the Dolphins were missing their starting quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, they still managed to score 31 points under the leadership of third-string quarterback Skylar Thompson.

Josh Allen, the Bills quarterback, had three turnovers in the game, including two interceptions, bringing his season total to a league-leading 16. Despite this, he was able to throw for 352 yards and three touchdowns, but was sacked a career-high seven times. On a positive note, Stephon Diggs and Gabe Davis each had over 100 receiving yards, standing out as bright spots for Buffalo.

Cincinnati Bengals 

The Bengals narrowly missed covering the spread in consecutive games against the Baltimore Ravens, winning 21-17 on January 15. They continue to have the second-best record in the NFL against the spread at 12-5, covering in all three games where they were not favored to win this season. Joe Burrow scored a rushing touchdown and connected with top receiver Ja’Marr Chase for a touchdown, but it was a defensive fumble return by Sam Hubbard that ultimately sealed the victory.

The last time these two teams faced off was in 2019, with Buffalo winning 21-17. The Bills have made it to the Divisional round for the third year in a row, while the Bengals are still seeking their first championship after losing in the Super Bowl for the third time last season. The game is set to start at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
