Fanatics Underscoreg, a top sports betting site, revealed on Thursday that it has officially launched its betting app in Kansas. This makes the Sunflower State the 17th state where users can access their platform for wagering.

Fanatics has quickly moved away from the PointsBet platform in Kansas, which had been a part of the state’s sports betting scene since it became legal in September 2022. Earlier this year, Fanatics purchased PointsBet’s U.S. operations for $225 million and has been working diligently to transition to the Fanatics brand.

Fanatics Underscoreg has been actively expanding its migration plans, recently launching in five states: Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, New York, and North Carolina.

With the successful launch in Kansas, Fanatics is close to completing its transition away from PointsBet. The only major markets left are Illinois and New Jersey. The launch in Illinois appears to be on the horizon following the acquisition of a management services provider license from the Illinois Gaming Board earlier this month.

Lesser-known markets such as Louisiana and Wyoming are in the process of rebranding to become Fanatics Underscoreg.

Signing up

Similar to other jurisdictions with Fanatics Underscoreg, the sports betting provider has ensured convenient access to its brand. Starting Thursday, Fanatics Underscoreg can be easily downloaded on iOS, Android, and desktop platforms, making it the latest addition to the Kansas sports betting apps lineup.

After downloading the app, users with a PointsBet account in Kansas can transfer their email, login details, balances, current bets, bonus bets, and rewards balance to their new Fanatics account.

Although March Madness is already underway, the timing is still good for new users to join in on the excitement of both the NCAA Men’s and Women’s basketball championship tournaments.

One of the many Kansas sportsbook promos available is the Fanatics Kansas promo, which offers $1K in Bonus Bets for the first 10 days of operation in the Sunflower State market.

The Kansas market

With 2.944 million residents, Kansas ranks as the 35th most populous state in America. Although it is home to just one professional sports team, Sporting Kansas City of MLS, the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs and MLB’s Kansas City Royals, who play their home games in Missouri, have dedicated fan bases in the Sunflower State.

Since its inception, Kansas has consistently ranked as an average state in terms of sports betting activity. In February, the top sportsbooks in Kansas saw $203 million in wagers, resulting in $3.1 million in revenue reported by state regulators.

Fanatics is now the sixth sports betting app available in Kansas.

What Kansas residents can expect

Fanatics Underscoreg’s entrance into the Kansas market comes with significant brand recognition, largely due to its successful online sports apparel business. With a strong presence in the industry, the company has amassed a large customer base that it aims to transition into sports bettors within the state.

Fanatics has extensive experience serving bettors in top sports wagering jurisdictions across the country. Additionally, they provide a compelling Welcome Bonus of $1,000 in Bonus Bets for use within the first 10 days of signing up.

Users in Kansas who are avid fans of Fanatics will now have the opportunity to join the company’s fantastic “FanCash” Rewards Program. This program enables users to earn up to 5% cash back on all their bets. They can then redeem these rewards for Bonus Bets or purchase Fanatics-branded apparel from the company’s top-notch online store.
