Fanatics Betting and Gaming, a subsidiary of Fanatics Holdings Inc, has successfully entered the expanding market of Indiana sports betting apps by partnering with Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg.

Fanatics Underscoreg can now be downloaded by all Indiana sports betting customers on both iOS and Android. The legal sports betting platform is being rolled out in jurisdictions previously served by PointsBet, which was acquired by Fanatics for $225 million earlier this summer.

When downloading the new Fanatics Underscoreg app, former PointsBet users will have all their existing information, including email, log-in details, account balances, active bets, bonus bets, reward balance, and Indiana sportsbook promotions, transferred seamlessly to their new account.

Fanatics Underscoreg has expanded its presence to 14 U.S. states, joining our top sports betting sites after a recent game-changing transaction. Fanatics has successfully transitioned its platform from PointsBet.

The sportsbook has recently launched in three U.S. states in February, starting with Iowa sports betting on Feb. 6 and later joining the Michigan sports betting market. Fanatics is set to launch in North Carolina’s highly anticipated sports betting market on March 11.

Exploring the Indiana market

Since October 2019, Indiana has seen the rise of some of the top sports betting apps in the state. This has solidified Indiana’s position as one of the most reliable legal sports betting states in the U.S., consistently ranking among the top 10 successful sports wagering jurisdictions.

Indiana has accumulated a lifetime handle of approximately $15.3 billion, surpassing $1 billion in gross gaming revenues. This achievement places Indiana among the 10 U.S. states that have reached the $1 billion lifetime handle milestone.

Indiana’s sports betting industry is well-established, with top sportsbooks dominating the market. The competition for market share is intense, making it tough for new operators to break in and establish a significant presence in the state.

Hoping to improve on PointsBet

Before its acquisition by Fanatics, PointsBet Indiana and its presence in other states had been struggling to make a significant impact in the market, remaining stagnant in mediocrity.

Before closing down, PointsBet was ranked as the seventh top sports betting provider in Indiana. In 2023, the company saw a 17.3% decrease in bets accepted in the state, with a total of $88.4 million wagered.

PointsBet had its most successful month in December, with $16.2 million in accepted wagers in the Indiana market.

What Fanatics brings to Indiana

Fanatics Underscoreg is well-known in the Indiana market and has extensive experience serving both North American bettors and sports apparel consumers. The company has a large customer base that it aims to transition to its Fanatics Underscoreg operation.

Fanatics Indiana will also offer the “FanCash” rewards program, where customers can earn up to 5% cashback rewards to use towards bonus bets and Fanatics branded merchandise on their top-rated online store.

Fanatics Underscoreg is offering $1,000 in bonus bets to all new users in the Indiana market as a welcome to their new product, which competes with the top sportsbook promotions in the state.
