Cowboys vs. 49ers Preview  

The Cowboys are aiming to reach the Conference Championship for the first time since winning the Super Bowl in 1995. However, they face a tough challenge against the 49ers, who are currently on an 11-game winning streak. San Francisco, favored by 3.5 points, has odds of -200 compared to Dallas’ +168. The total for the game is set at 45.5 points.

The new quarterback, Brock Purdy, has been performing exceptionally well as the starting QB, guiding his team to a 41-23 win against the Seattle Seahawks in his playoff debut. Purdy has thrown three touchdown passes in each of his last two games, and currently holds the highest passer rating of 111.0 among all quarterbacks in both the regular season and playoffs.

Christian McCaffrey matched his season-high with 119 rushing yards, while Deebo Samuel reached a season-high of 133 receiving yards. The offense is in top form, but San Francisco’s defense is also elite, leading the league in total yards and average points allowed per game.

Dallas Cowboys  

The Cowboys, who have been favored in their last 12 games, are now considered underdogs in this matchup. This change comes after a dominant 31-14 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card round, where QB Dak Prescott had one of his best games ever with four touchdown passes and a rushing score. Prescott has been successful in targeting tight end Dalton Schultz, as defenses key in on WR CeeDee Lamb and the RB tandem of Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott. Schultz had a career-high 95 receiving yards in the game and has scored four touchdowns in the last three games.

The Cowboys are seeking revenge in a rematch of last season’s NFC Wild Card game, where they lost 23-17. The game is set to kickoff at 6:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
