FanDuel Underscoreg at Valley Forge Casino in Pennsylvania Victim of Attempted Armed Robbery
An attempted armed robbery took place on Tuesday at FanDuel underscoreg located at Valley Forge Casino in Pennsylvania. This incident shocked both patrons of the physical establishment and the management of Boyd Gaming, the owners of the Casino Resort in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, as well as its sportsbook partner, FanDuel, a top sports betting site.
Police reported that on Tuesday evening around 11 p.m. ET, two men entered Valley Forge Casino wearing hoodies, white gloves, and white ski masks. They were armed with guns and demanded money from the FanDuel Underscoreg located near the entrance of the casino.
Jay Gerbert, a witness to the incident, expressed disbelief at the shocking event, stating that he had never seen anything like it happen in a casino before.
“The workers were shocked,” he continued. “They were likely feeling a bit nervous. They won’t escape… they will be caught eventually.”
The suspects may have been feeling fortunate when they decided to rob a supposedly secure casino property, but their luck is bound to run out as authorities investigate the matter.
Fortunately, no one was injured during the attempted robbery by four suspects who escaped in a white Jeep Cherokee with black rims. Although they were unsuccessful in their attempt, they did manage to steal $120 in tips from a marked jar at the casino.
