Growth has been impressive

Flutter Entertainment recently released a first-quarter earnings report that impressed industry insiders and earned recognition from TIME as one of the Top 100 Influential Companies globally.

During the full-year 2023 reporting period, the company experienced a year-over-year revenue increase to $11.8 billion.

In the first quarter of 2024, Flutter experienced a 16% increase in revenue compared to the same period last year, reaching $3.4 billion in total revenue.

In the first quarter, the average number of active global players was 12.3 million, with expectations of an increase in the second quarter. TIME’s press release stated that as of March 31, the company had 13.7 million monthly players.

American market has been key

FanDuel has solidified its position as the top sportsbook in the United States, leading in both handle and revenues in the growing market. The company has secured key partnerships with major sports leagues in North America, such as the NBA, NHL, NFL, and MLB, as well as some of the most iconic teams in those sports.

It is inevitable for a sports fan in North America and across the globe to be unfamiliar with at least one of Flutter Entertainment’s legal sports betting brands.

This week, Flutter relocated its primary listing to the New York Stock Exchange in order to capitalize on its popularity in the United States and attract American investors with deep pockets.

After being delisted from Euronext Dublin and changing its primary listing from the London Stock Exchange, the company has now made London its secondary listing.

Flutter Entertainment has strengthened its dedication to addressing problem gambling in the American market by joining a Responsible Online Gaming Association. This association aims to reduce addiction and cheating within the industry, while also promoting self-regulation among gambling providers.
