Last week, Lotto.com achieved a milestone by expanding its online lottery platform to Arizona, making it the 10th state in its growing presence in the American market. This expansion follows just one month after entering the Nebraska market.

Last Tuesday, Lotto.com, the first online lottery platform in America to offer digital lottery games including state draws and scratch tickets, announced its launch in Arizona, effective immediately.

Arizona lottery fans can now buy tickets for Powerball, Mega Millions, and popular scratch-off games on the platform.

Thomas Metzger, CEO of Lotto.com Inc., announced that the team is celebrating a significant achievement as they launch their platform in their tenth state. The expansion not only demonstrates the brand’s ongoing growth but also underscores their commitment to transforming the lottery industry nationwide.

What Lotto.com brings to Arizona market

Lotto.com is among the many companies in the rapidly growing U.S. lottery courier industry. Through its user-friendly app, players can conveniently purchase official state lottery tickets online and Lotto.com earns a commission on customer deposits.

The secure and user-friendly online platform has been praised for its role in boosting state lottery programs nationwide, offering lottery customers a convenient option to participate.

Lotto.com proudly serves over 1.9 million customers and has contributed approximately $85 million to state-funded lottery programs in multiple participating states.

Lotto.com in Arizona offers the chance to buy tickets for popular state lotteries like Powerball and Mega Millions, as well as popular scratch ticket options through their app.

Why Arizona?

Arizona has been on the radar of Lotto.com for a while now. CEO Thomas Metzger stated that the state’s market size and the programs funded by lottery revenue made it an easy decision to launch in Arizona.

“In a recent interview, Metzger emphasized the importance of prioritizing Arizona due to its population of 7.5 million and annual lottery sales exceeding $1.5 billion.”

The expansion of Lotto.com into Arizona will provide crucial support for state and lottery-funded programs, including education, health and human services, business initiatives, and environmental projects. Additionally, a significant portion of the state lottery revenue in Arizona contributes to a general fund.

Growing the Lotto.com presence

Lotto.com has expanded its presence to 10 U.S. markets, including Arizona and Nebraska. The platform is now also available in Arkansas, Colorado, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, and Texas.

In order to stay competitive with other major courier lottery providers in America, Lotto.com has future expansion plans in the works. Recently, Jackpocket was acquired by DraftKings for $750 million and is already operational in Arizona. Additionally, Jackpot.com has become the official lottery courier for the Associated Press. With these new players in the market, theLotter, along with Jackpocket and Jackpot.com, pose as strong competition for Lotto.com.

The lottery courier companies collectively gathered an estimated $113.3 billion in sales in 2023 while operating in the United States.
