The top sportsbook in America has formed a partnership with the oldest professional sports league in the country.

FanDuel and Major League Baseball (MLB) revealed a long-term partnership on Thursday, naming the sportsbook as a co-exclusive official sports betting partner of the league. As part of this collaboration, FanDuel will have access to official MLB branding for its products, marketing initiatives, and various platforms such as the sportsbook, daily fantasy sports, and FanDuel Faceoff.

FanDuel will now stream MLB.TV’s Free Game Of The Day on the FanDuel sportsbook app and FanDuel+ OTT streaming service. The company will also be able to use highlights for original programming on FanDuel TV.

FanDuel president Christian Genetski stated that the team is excited to feature FanDuel in nationally broadcast MLB games, enrich game narratives, and bring America’s Pastime to fans through our mobile app and OTT platform for watching and wagering.

Since 2019, FanDuel has been an approved gaming operator for the MLB.

MLB continues to embrace sports betting

FanDuel is the most recent addition to a series of prominent sports betting sites entering the world of baseball.

  • BetMGM is also a co-exclusive official sports betting partner to MLB. BetMGM originally struck a deal with the league in 2018 and became MLB’s first official gaming sponsor. The operator renewed its partnership in July 2026, and the pact also includes domestic marketing on MLB Network, MLB.com, and MLB’s portfolio of apps. BetMGM also opened the first retail sportsbook connected to an MLB ballpark when it launched at Nationals Park in January 2026.
  • Caesars Underscoreg opened in the left-field corner of the Mets’ Citi Field for the 2026 season.
  • DraftKings is preparing to open a retail sportsbook at historic Wrigley Field in time for the 2026 Cubs’ campaign.
  • Back in 2020, PointsBet became the first sportsbook to secure an MLB team sponsorship with a multi-year agreement with the Detroit Tigers.
  • Bet365 announced a partnership with the Cleveland Guardians in January 2026 to kick off its foray into the newly launched Ohio sports betting market.

Genetski stated that baseball fans are among the most engaged in all of sports.

FanDuel’s partnership will provide baseball enthusiasts with additional opportunities to interact with their beloved sport. By incorporating live streams into the FanDuel sportsbook app, fans can enhance their experience during every pitch from March to October, as Genetski mentioned.

FanDuel still dominating U.S. sports betting

Claiming that FanDuel is the top sportsbook in the United States is now more than just bravado – it’s a proven reality.

FanDuel’s recent collaboration with MLB coincides with significant financial expansion. Flutter Entertainment, the parent company of FanDuel and the largest online sports betting company globally, announced its 2026 preliminary results. The report revealed that its US sector saw a substantial revenue increase of 87% year-over-year, reaching $3.2 billion.

FanDuel’s recent debut in the Ohio and Maryland sports betting markets has been incredibly successful. In Ohio, where sports betting began on January 1, over $1 billion was wagered in the first month. FanDuel holds a 45% market share in Ohio, bringing in more than $494 million in bets and generating over $103 million in revenue.

In 2026, the operator has seen significant success with over 1.2 million new customers acquired. FanDuel holds the top spot as the leading sportsbook in America with a 50% market share. With licenses in 19 states, FanDuel is set to enter the Massachusetts sports betting market on March 10 when online sports betting becomes available.

FanDuel holds the largest market share in New York sports betting, with over 40% of the nearly $2 billion in bets collected in January coming from their platform.

In summary, it appears that FanDuel is dominating the world of betting and many people are already using its platform based on the statistics provided. If you haven’t joined yet, consider using this FanDuel promo code as it offers one of the most generous betting promotions out there.
