He’s done it again!

Jim McIngvale, also known as “Mattress Mack,” a renowned furniture salesman from Houston, is back in the spotlight for his extravagant bets and marketing tactics. This time, he has placed his biggest wager yet: $4.5 million on the Cincinnati Bengals to win Super Bowl LVI against the Los Angeles Rams, with odds of +170, with Caesars Underscoreg.

The $4.5 million bet is now the biggest mobile sports wager ever and ranks as the second largest Super Bowl bet in history. The previous record was set in 2002 when an unidentified bettor placed $4.9 million on the St. Louis Rams at -900 odds, only to lose when the New England Patriots won with a final score of 20-17.

According to ESPN, McIngvale, a native of Texas, had to drive from his home state to Louisiana in order to place the bets. He did so while parked at a gas station in his car, making approximately twenty $200,000 bets to ensure success.

This elicited a response from Ken Fuchs, the Head of Sports at Caesars Underscoreg.

For years, “Mattress Mack” has made headlines for his large bets and clever marketing tactics. One of his latest promotions offers customers who spend $3,000 or more on furniture a full refund if the Bengals win.

The Bengals could be facing problems based on his recent betting streak. In the month of January, McIngvale placed a series of bets that resulted in a loss of $4.7 million in just 6 days.
