The convergence of North American sports and iGaming moved closer to reality on Monday with the news that Caesars Underscoreg & Casino, a top sportsbook, has obtained permission to incorporate the NFL shield and other league branding into their new “Caesars Football Blackjack” game. This game is now live in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.

The agreement is a result of the growing official online casino partnership between the NFL, North America’s leading sports league, and Caesars Entertainment, one of the top sportsbook and iCasino providers in the region. Caesars has secured exclusive rights to utilize NFL logos and marks on its expanding online casino platform, including live dealer casino games, making it the only iGaming company with this privilege.

Caesars Digital Senior Vice President & Chief iGaming Officer Matt Sunderland stated that the addition of exclusive live dealer content such as ‘Caesars Football Blackjack delivers’ is part of their goal to provide an enhanced experience for players. He expressed excitement about including the official sponsorship lock-up logo and partnership designation, which features the NFL Shield, in their live dealer content, marking a significant milestone in their longstanding partnership with the NFL.

Caesars Football Blackjack

Caesars has introduced a new Blackjack game with an NFL theme designed to attract fans of the popular North American league, as well as enthusiasts of online live dealer blackjack. The live “Caesars Football Blackjack” option on the site will feature NFL branding, coinciding with the peak of NFL exposure during Super Bowl Week.

The new game expands on Caesars’ already extensive range of iGaming offerings in the North American market, seamlessly integrating the NFL’s renowned branding. With a diverse portfolio and top-notch sports betting app, Caesars is widely regarded as a leader in the industry.

Currently, Caesars Digital offers live streams of American and European Roulette, classic and Infinite Blackjack, Baccarat, Craps, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, and Three Card Poker.

The partnership’s expansion and the release of the NFL-themed game coincide with a period of anticipated growth in the iGaming industry, particularly in the hesitant American market.

Part of a broader Caesars strategy

Caesars Entertainment has been leading the charge in expanding iGaming markets throughout North America. Despite a gradual pace, the company’s iGaming platform, Caesars Palace Online Casino, is currently operational in three U.S. states – New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. Ontario also boasts its own iGaming platform.

Despite their efforts, Caesars Palace Online Casino has been unable to gain traction since its launch in July 2023. The company has partnered with top gambling software providers in an attempt to improve their product and has also expanded their reach through partnerships with leading leagues in the North American market.

In the past year, Caesars has formed important partnerships with leading gaming software provider EveryMatrix and developed its SlotMatrix platform. Additionally, the company joined forces with Digital Gaming Corporation to introduce casino gaming in Pennsylvania and collaborated with Hacksaw Gaming to launch Ontario’s iGaming platform.

It is uncertain whether Caesars’ recent decision will boost the visibility of its iGaming platform and lead to expansion beyond Ontario, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. However, the company appears to be on the right track as the platform gains acceptance in other states nationwide.
