North Carolina is getting ready to introduce its premier sportsbooks, and the state’s retail sports wagering providers have welcomed another major player to the lineup of top-tier providers who are eager to capitalize on the new market in the Tar Heel State beginning March 11.

On Thursday, Sportradar Solutions LLC, a leading provider of sports betting data, officially entered the North Carolina sports betting market after receiving a supplier license from the North Carolina State Lottery Commission. This license grants the company the opportunity to operate in America’s latest legal sports betting jurisdiction.

Sportradar is set to provide all of its betting data services to the eight North Carolina sports betting apps that will be launched next week.

It is not unexpected to see Sportradar expanding its presence in North Carolina, given the increasing availability of North Carolina sportsbook promotions. The data provider holds a total of 56 licenses in the competitive North American market, forming partnerships with states, provinces, native tribes, and numerous top sports betting sites operating in those regions.

North Carolina’s supplier license will remain valid for a period of five years.
