CFB games we’re looking to bet early

Colorado -8.5 vs. NDSU ⭐⭐⭐

You can find the best odds at -108 on FanDuel.

As stated in our Colorado win total odds, there is a possibility that the team is being undervalued by the market due to their lackluster performance in the previous season. Despite only securing one win after a promising 3-0 start in the 2023 season, it is important to remember that the team had only won one game the year before. We anticipate that the Buffaloes will show significant improvement in Deion Sanders’ second season as head coach.

Quarterback Shedeur Sanders has returned after deciding not to enter the NFL Draft, boosting his Heisman odds potential with impressive stats from last season: 3,230 yards and 27 touchdowns. He has a plethora of offensive weapons, including two-way star Travis Hunter.

After rejoining the Big 12 this season, Colorado’s season opener against North Dakota State seems more manageable compared to facing TCU in Week 1 last year. North Dakota State, ranked No. 2 in the FCS according to SP+ final rankings, will provide a challenge, but Colorado is expected to secure a double-digit victory.

Oklahoma +10.5 vs. Texas ⭐⭐⭐

FanDuel offers the best odds at -110.

This statement seems exaggerated in response to Texas returning after winning a Big 12 title and earning a CFP berth last season. The two teams were closely matched on a neutral field last year, with Oklahoma winning by just four points as a 4-point underdog.

The Longhorns are expected to see early success in the SEC, while the Sooners remain a strong program. Despite quarterback Dillon Gabriel transferring to Oregon, Jackson Arnold has a strong pedigree and could have challenged Gabriel for the starting QB position during fall camp.

On another note, Texas is facing a potential quarterback competition between Quinn Ewers and Arch Manning. Ewers held the position all of last season, however, Manning could have a bigger impact this year after redshirting as a freshman.

We are excited about the opportunity to take advantage of a 10.5-point spread in favor of Oklahoma in the upcoming game at Cotton Bowl Stadium. Oklahoma has emerged victorious in five out of the last six meetings against Texas, making them a strong bet for this matchup.

Oregon ML vs. Ohio State ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The most favorable odds are -106 at FanDuel.

We chose Oregon as our pick to win the college football championship, based on our predictions. Dan Lanning has opted to stay with the Ducks, passing on an offer to coach at Alabama, showing his commitment to building a strong program in Oregon.

This season, Oregon will be competing in the Big Ten and is expected to be one of the top teams in the conference right away. Their upcoming home game against Ohio State will be a challenging test, as the Buckeyes have secured five league titles in the last 10 years.

Ohio State has had the most successful offseason in terms of acquisitions through the transfer portal. However, there are doubts about the team’s potential with Will Howard as quarterback, given his previous criticisms while playing for Kansas State. On the other hand, Oregon doesn’t have the same concerns as they have brought in Gabriel and Dante Moore from UCLA to replace Bo Nix.

The Ducks are being underestimated by the market while the Buckeyes are being overrated. Capitalize on the lower moneyline odds for the home team.
