As the first round went on, Paul continued to attack relentlessly, landing a series of powerful punches that knocked AnEsonGib to the ground. The referee quickly stopped the fight as AnEsonGib tried to stand back up.

Nov. 28, 2020: Jake Paul vs. Nate Robinson

Paul wins via TKO at 1:24 of Round 2

FighterOdds
Jake Paul-275
Nate Robinson+200

Paul looked great in his first professional fight, but he was even more impressive in this one, although his opponent was an ex-NBA player making his boxing debut. The difference in skill levels was evident.

Paul demonstrated significant improvement in accuracy and speed, while Robinson had difficulty finding his rhythm and suffered a series of powerful blows in a lopsided first round that visibly rattled him.

In Round 2, Paul maintained his aggressive attack by landing a powerful right hook that knocked Robinson down to the canvas. Although Robinson managed to stand back up, he was ultimately knocked down again, leading to Paul’s first significant victory in the fight.

Paul wins via TKO at 1:59 of Round 1

FighterOdds
Jake Paul-155
Ben Askren+125

No one could predict the outcome of the fight beforehand. At one point, Paul was favored with odds as short as -220, but heavy betting on Askren evened the odds. However, once the first round began, Paul quickly established his dominance and ensured that the fight would not be a close one.

From the beginning, Paul dominated the fight with his superior fighting skills, utilizing his longer reach to control the distance between himself and Askren. Askren, an accomplished former MMA champion and Olympic wrestler, tried to get in close and make use of his grappling background. However, Paul’s agility and accurate punching combinations prevented Askren from getting too close, landing clean hits to both the head and body.

In a pivotal moment in his professional fighting career, Paul unleashed a devastating overhand right that landed flush on Askren’s jaw, causing him to collapse to the mat. Despite his efforts to regain his composure, Askren was unable to withstand the subsequent barrage of punches, leaving the referee with no choice but to step in and stop the fight.

Aug. 29, 2021: Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley

Paul wins by eight-round split decision

FighterOdds
Jake Paul-200
Tyron Woodley+160

When Paul had his first professional fight in Cleveland, he started as a -160 favorite but by the time the fight started, he was a -200 favorite. However, this match would be more challenging than his previous three fights.

Paul once again used his reach advantage to keep Woodley at bay, despite it being Woodley’s first professional boxing match. The crowd went wild when Woodley landed a powerful right cross that sent Paul reeling into the ropes.

Woodley’s dominance was short-lived, as Paul demonstrated superior jabs, power punches, and stamina needed for later rounds, ultimately winning the fight on two of the three judges’ scorecards.

Dec. 18, 2021: Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley 2

Paul wins by KO at 2:12 of Round 6

After their first fight, Woodley immediately started asking for a rematch with Paul. At first, Paul was unsure, but when British boxer and reality star Tommy Fury had to back out of their December match due to illness, Paul’s schedule opened up for a rematch with Woodley.

In the initial five rounds, the rematch between the two fighters resembled their previous fight, but was notably less exciting. Paul was leading on all three judges’ scorecards as the match was filled with numerous clinches, prompting the crowd to express their disappointment with a chorus of boos.

There was a noticeable improvement in Round 6.

Although this fight was not Paul’s greatest performance, the way it concluded made it clear that Paul was not backing down. His bold move to challenge Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz after the fight only solidified this notion.

Oct. 29, 2022: Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva

Paul wins by unanimous decision

FighterOdds
Jake Paul-260
Anderson Silva+200

Even though he was 47 years old, Silva, a renowned MMA fighter and former UFC middleweight champion, was still a formidable opponent. Paul did not underestimate him, as he continued to get stronger as the fight progressed, despite facing some late-round comebacks from his significantly older adversary.

Silva, with only five professional boxing matches behind him, displayed unexpected agility in the beginning but began to show signs of aging towards the end, allowing Paul to land a precise combination that ultimately knocked him down in the final round.

Paul completely outperformed his opponent, and he seized the chance to once more challenge Diaz after tensions escalated between their teams backstage at the pay-per-view event.

Feb. 26, 2023: Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury

British reality TV star Tommy Fury celebrates after he won by split decision against US YouTuber Jake Paul in a boxing match held at Diriyah in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on February 27, 2023.

Fury wins by split decision

Paul, who typically acted as the aggressor in his past professional fights, seemed surprised when he was put on the defensive at the start of the match. Fury seemed to mimic Paul’s strategy and it paid off as he gained points from the judges.

The pace of the fight gradually decreased as the fighters entered into a series of clinches, resulting in points being deducted from both competitors. The slow tempo played to Fury’s advantage as he effectively kept Paul at a distance with a consistent jab, preventing him from unleashing his powerful punches.

Paul, who was behind on the scorecards, made a late comeback and was ultimately rewarded for his efforts.

It was not sufficient, as Fury emerged victorious with scores of 76-73 on two scorecards (Paul narrowly won 75-74 on the third) to deliver the internet sensation his initial loss in the professional ranks.
