Although Miami is known for its strong defense, the Heat struggle to defend against shots from beyond the 3-point line. They have given up an average of 13.7 made 3-pointers per game this season, ranking them 22nd in the NBA in this category.

Even though Tyrese Maxey’s average number of made threes per game is slightly lower than Monday’s game (3.3), he has made at least four 3-point shots in each of his last four games and has accomplished this in six of his past eight games.

Since Miami’s defense doesn’t pose a significant threat to Maxey’s 3-point shooting, taking the Over 3.5 at even odds on DraftKings and FanDuel is a good value bet. It’s best to avoid bet365 for this prop, as their -105 odds on Over 3.5 are not as favorable.

Bam Adebayo Over 9.5 rebounds (-118 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐

Adebayo is a dominant force on the boards, averaging 9.6 rebounds per game this season. He has recorded double-digit rebounding totals in 11 out of 19 games played.

Despite both teams having strong rebounding defenses, we can still expect a high number of missed shots in this game because of the quality of their defenses. Philadelphia and Miami are both among the top seven teams in the NBA for scoring defense.

The odds of -118 at FanDuel are not ideal, lowering our rating to three stars. However, we are intrigued by Adebayo’s performance near the basket and are still considering placing the bet. Be sure to check for better odds at other sportsbooks, as anything better than -110 would increase our rating to four stars.

Joel Embiid Over 49.5 points + rebounds + assists (-115 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Joel Embiid, the focal point of Philadelphia, has achieved a PRA total of 50 or more in an impressive 13 consecutive games. Despite consistently surpassing the set line of 49.5, it is somewhat surprising that this number is still being used, considering his reliable scoring and rebounding performances in his recent games.

Embiid has recorded a double-double with at least 30 points in all 13 games of his streak. Despite the temptation to bet on his scoring prop of 32.5 points, he has fallen short of that mark in four of his last 13 games.

Despite Miami ranking seventh in scoring defense, Embiid remains a dominant force in the offense. Philadelphia’s strong rebounding game, ranking second in the league, may help counter Miami’s low opponent rebounds per game. Additionally, Miami’s weakness in assists allowed per game could benefit Embiid and the Philadelphia offense.

This prop bet can be found on bet365 with -115 odds for Over 49.5. DraftKings offers odds at -120, but FanDuel’s line of 50.5 is not as favorable.
