There is legitimate doubt about Purdy’s ability to succeed on the road against the NFL’s top Pass Defense DVOA. Expect San Francisco’s running game to dominate against Philadelphia’s 21st-ranked Rush Defense DVOA.

However, the Niners should also challenge the Eagles’ strong running game. Philadelphia is accustomed to dominating on the ground, but if the league’s best run defense can stop them, it will force Hurts to rely more on passing to secure the win.

This game is so evenly matched that it should be considered a pick’em. Betting on the underdog to win outright instead of taking the spread will increase the odds for same-game parlays. FanDuel has slightly better value at +132 compared to +125 at DraftKings for same-game parlays.

Dallas’ fifth-ranked Rush Defense DVOA presents a more challenging matchup than the 21st-ranked unit CMC will face this week. The Eagles boast the top pass defense in the NFL, so utilizing McCaffrey heavily is essential to help Purdy. CMC has surpassed this line in five out of his last eight games.

DK offers two rushing line options for McCaffrey: 54.5 yards with -150 odds or 64.5 yards with +115 odds. However, I believe FD’s standard offer of 57.5 yards with -113 odds is more appealing. If the line increases to 60.5 yards, it would only receive a three-star recommendation.

Deebo Samuel Over 22.5 rushing yards (-113) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This stat line represents a different scenario that could occur if 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan continues to support his rookie seventh-round quarterback. Despite only hitting this rushing mark five times this season, San Francisco receiver Deebo Samuel’s participation in the run game could see an increase in productivity due to the upcoming matchup against the Eagles.

In the last two playoff games, Samuel ran the ball seven times, successfully breaking through the line once. The Cowboys focused on stopping Deebo to prevent any significant plays. I doubt the Eagles’ linebackers have the speed to contain Samuel and prevent him from making a big gain during his numerous rushing attempts on Sunday.

DraftKings has Samuel listed at -105 to achieve at least 25 rushing yards. The odds are not favorable enough to make it worth the risk, so we have decided to go with a Same Game Parlay at FanDuel instead.
