So far in Week 8, we have successfully predicted two anytime touchdown scorers for Underscoreg Review. Let’s continue our winning streak by identifying any unexpected outcomes in the NFL odds from our top sports betting apps before Monday Night Football.

After recovering from losses in Week 7, our progress has continued to rise in Week 8.

It all started on Thursday night when Josh Allen defied the odds at +210. Despite missing out on Darren Waller and Justin Herbert, Courtland Sutton pulled through at +290.

Now, let’s aim for one final touchdown pick as we turn our attention to the Monday Night Football game featuring the Detroit Lions and Las Vegas Raiders.

Here is our anytime touchdown scorer prediction for Monday to complement our Jared Goff props, Raiders-Lions prediction, and Raider-Lions player props as we strive to outperform the top NFL betting sites.

Anytime touchdown scorer predictions: Week 8: Monday

Raiders vs. Lions anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Michael Mayer, Raiders, TE (+400 via FanDuel, Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Raiders’ offense struggled as expected when Brian Hoyer had to step in at quarterback for a week in 2026. The unit has numerous issues to address, but the return of Jimmy Garoppolo on Monday night should greatly improve the performance of all the receivers, including Michael Mayer.

The rookie tight end saw a significant increase in playing time during Week 6 with a season-high 57 snaps, leading to a breakout performance of five receptions for 75 yards. Garoppolo was healthy for half of the game.

In an offense that is struggling to gain yardage, tight ends may see increased opportunities as potential targets. Focusing on a promising rookie tight end during Monday night’s game against the Lions, who have already given up four touchdowns to tight ends, could be a smart move.

Anytime touchdown scorer predictions: Week 8: Sunday

Jets vs. Giants anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Darren Waller, Giants, TE (+350 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✖️

After a slow start to the season, Waller is now showing signs of life in a big way. The veteran tight end only had three catches in three of the Giants’ first four games, averaging just 38.3 yards per game during that time. However, in the last three weeks, his average has jumped to 75.7 yards per game.

He has become increasingly involved with the Giants, particularly as a reliable option in short-yardage situations due to the team’s offensive line issues. According to Fantasy Pros, he ranks second among 42 qualified tight ends in target share (26.8%) since Week 5. Additionally, he has yet to drop a pass in 2026.

Now, a receiver who has seen a significant increase in targets (with 11 in Week 5 and eight in Week 7) will have an advantage when going up against the struggling New York Jets defense, particularly their weakness against tight ends. The Jets have given up the most touchdowns to tight ends (five) and are ranked fourth in allowing fantasy points to the position.

Chiefs vs. Broncos anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Courtland Sutton, Broncos, WR (+290 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✔️

Courtland Sutton’s yardage numbers have been underwhelming in 2026, with an average of just 50.1 yards per game. However, this can be attributed to the struggles of the Broncos’ offense, which currently ranks 20th in passing yards as they head into Week 8.

What is more important for us here is that the Broncos are primarily scoring through passing plays. Out of the 14 offensive touchdowns the team has scored, only one has been on the ground. Additionally, Sutton has caught five of the 13 passing touchdowns, all of which were in the red zone. Sutton is tied for the most red-zone touchdowns in the league and is targeted in half of the Broncos’ red-zone opportunities.

Take advantage of the odds on Sutton scoring by betting through Caesars, as they offer a much lower price than DraftKings (+180) and FanDuel (+220).

Chargers vs. Bears anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Justin Herbert, Chargers, QB (+350 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✖️

While Justin Herbert is not typically recognized for his rushing abilities, the Chargers quarterback has a keen sense of when to take off from the pocket and can effectively navigate running lanes with his vision and awareness.

This package has consistently produced impressive rushing numbers, with 302 yards in 2021 and five touchdowns in his rookie season. Our main focus is on the latter statistic, as he has already scored three touchdowns in the first six games of the 2026 season, putting him on track to surpass his career high.

With those lengthy odds, he is definitely worth a bet. Additionally, the Chargers are likely to have many opportunities in the end zone against the 18th-ranked Chicago Bears defense, making Herbert an even more attractive long-shot option.

You can also find him at +2000 on Caesars to score the first touchdown of the game if you’re looking for a high-risk, high-reward bet.

Anytime touchdown scorer predictions: Week 8: TNF

Buccaneers vs. Bills anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Josh Allen, Bills, QB (+210 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✅

While it may appear easy, we are once again turning to the reliable option of a quarterback scoring against the Buccaneers. With the odds in our favor from top sports betting sites, it’s hard to resist this tempting opportunity.

The projected number of rushing scores for Bills QB Josh Allen during Thursday Night Football is 0.4. This implies a probability that should result in +150 odds, but we have found an outlier +210 ticket on FanDuel. Take advantage of this opportunity by hitting the button.

In Week 7, the Bucs have surrendered three rushing touchdowns to quarterbacks, putting them among the teams with the most. Allen scored his fourth rushing touchdown of the season in the previous game against the New England Patriots.

Throughout Allen’s career, it has been evident that he performs exceptionally well after a loss, particularly when given the opportunity to bounce back at home in front of Bills Mafia. The Bills are favored by 8.5 points at home, and it is highly likely that Allen will play a key role in securing the victory.
