SGP predictions for Bears vs. Vikings

Vikings -3 (-110) ⭐⭐⭐

Minnesota has excelled this season with a 7-3-1 record against the spread in the NFL. Despite performing better on the road, the Vikings have not lost or failed to cover a spread at US Bank Stadium since early October.

The Bears have a 4-5-2 record against the spread this year and have had difficulties on defense, giving up an average of 26.0 points per game which is more than all but four teams. While both teams in this game are unlikely to have success running the ball due to facing strong run defenses, the Vikings are expected to have success passing against the Bears.

We expect Joshua Dobbs and the Viking offense to exploit the weak 25th-ranked pass defense of their opponents, utilizing their home field advantage to secure a crucial victory for Minnesota in the NFC standings. The Vikings are favored by three points at both DraftKings and FanDuel.

Over 43.5 (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Vikings home games this season have mostly resulted in the Under, with only one Over hitting in their last five games. However, the reachable scoring range of 24-20, 23-21, 27-17, and more provides an opportunity to bet on the offenses in this upcoming game.

The Bears have a 4-2 Over record in road games this season due to their struggling defense outside of Soldier Field. Chicago has given up an average of 28.8 points per game on the road, while the Vikings have consistently scored at least 20 points in every home game this year.

Both FanDuel and DraftKings have the game total set at 43.5 points.

Herbert Over 1.5 receptions (-166) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Upon his return from injury last weekend, Khalil Herbert took on the majority of the backfield duties for the Chicago offense, carrying the ball 16 times and making two receptions. With the Bears expected to be trailing in the upcoming game against the Vikings, Herbert is likely to have the opportunity to make a few catches.

Herbert has recorded multiple receptions in four of the six games played this season. While his receiving yardage line is set at 10.5, Herbert has only surpassed this mark in three out of six games, showing inconsistency as a pass-catcher.

The Minnesota defense will likely pressure Fields into throwing short passes to his running backs, and we anticipate Herbert will have opportunities to catch some of those passes as a safety option. Since FanDuel does not offer a prop bet for Herbert receptions in our Same Game Parlay (SGP), we will place this parlay bet on DraftKings instead.

Parlay picks for Bears-Vikings game were made on Monday at 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
