NFL player props for Week 15

Odell Beckham Jr. Over 37.5 receiving yards vs. Jaguars (-110 via BetMGM, DraftKings, bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

In the Week 15 Sunday Night Football game, the Jacksonville Jaguars will face off against the Baltimore Ravens in a showdown of strength vs. strength. The Ravens lead the NFL with 157.1 rushing yards per game, while the Jaguars have the fourth-best rush defense, allowing only 92.2 rushing yards per game. Despite this, Lamar Jackson could still have a successful day running the ball, as the Jaguars allowed 47 rushing yards to C.J. Stroud in Week 12.

Nevertheless, we are optimistic about Jackson’s progress as a quarterback with the strongest group of receivers he has ever had, and we anticipate Odell Beckham Jr. continuing to thrive.

Beckham’s target percentage has increased from 21% to 38% in his last five games, the highest in the NFL among players who have run at least 50 routes during that span. In his first six outings of 2023, he averaged 27.0 yards per game and did not score any touchdowns.

Beckham has maintained an average of 68.6 receiving yards per game and three touchdowns. We anticipate him keeping up this pace, especially if Baltimore struggles to run the ball against Jacksonville’s strong defensive line.

Bettors have a variety of options to choose from among the top sportsbooks for this bet, with Caesars being the only one that charges a higher juice (-115) for a total of 37.5 receiving yards.

James Cook anytime touchdown scorer vs. Cowboys (+180 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐

Since the Buffalo Bills replaced offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey with Joe Brady, James Cook has significantly benefited. In the first 10 games of the season, Cook only scored a touchdown twice, but with Brady as the play-caller, he has found the end zone in two out of three matchups. Additionally, Cook has scored 19 or more fantasy points twice in the past three weeks and has finished as a top-12 running back in all three games.

Cook has been consistently involved in the offense with over 20 touches in each of the three games played with Brady. He is the first Bills running back since LeSean McCoy in 2016 to achieve over 100 scrimmage yards in four consecutive games. Despite Buffalo’s struggling offensive line, they will be up against the formidable Dallas Cowboys pass rush, which pressures quarterbacks on a league-leading 39% of dropbacks. This means that Cook may have just as good of a chance to score through the air as he does on the ground, especially if Allen is forced to make quick check-down throws to evade pressure.

We are finding excellent value with the +180 odds at FanDuel, especially considering that DraftKings is offering odds as low as +110.

D.K. Metcalf anytime touchdown scorer vs. Eagles (+187 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

D.K. Metcalf’s anytime touchdown scorer odds may not be easily found because of the uncertain status of quarterback Geno Smith. However, we can seize the opportunity to bet on these favorable odds at bet365 before they potentially decrease if Smith plays. Even if Drew Lock is the quarterback, there is still good reason to believe Metcalf will score a touchdown.

In the past two games, Metcalf has scored four receiving touchdowns. He is now up against an Eagles defense that gives up the most fantasy points and receiving touchdowns to wide receivers. Six different receivers have surpassed 100 yards against the Eagles. Metcalf currently holds a strong 23% target share and 43% of his team’s air yards.

By Week 14, Philadelphia was ranked in the bottom three for both passer rating and passing touchdowns allowed since Week 8. However, Dak Prescott continued his impressive streak with seven games in a row with multiple passing touchdowns and six games with a passer rating of 99.4 or better during that timeframe.

According to Sharp Football Analysis, the Eagles rank 28th or lower in touchdown rate (6.1%) and receptions (9.2) to outside receivers in 2023, making this a highly recommended play at our top sportsbooks with a four-star rating.

NFL game picks for Week 15

Steelers +1.5 vs. Colts (-110 via BetMGM, DraftKings, Caesars, bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Indianapolis Colts are set to face off on Saturday afternoon in a game with significant playoff implications in the AFC. Both teams are part of a group of six 7-6 teams competing for wild-card spots. Pittsburgh has the best moneyline odds at Caesars, with +110 being the highest among our recommended sports betting sites. We are comfortable taking the 1.5 extra points at the standard juice of -110.

Good news for Pittsburgh as T.J. Watt was able to practice in full on Wednesday after recovering from a concussion suffered in Week 14. Watt has been a key player on the field for 86% of the team’s defensive snaps in 2023, with the Steelers’ defense performing significantly better with him on the field, allowing a 38 QBR and a 38% third-down percentage. In contrast, when Watt is not playing, the Steelers have given up a 64 QBR and a 63% third-down percentage, according to NFL Next Gen Stats.

In three out of the Colts’ last four games, quarterback Gardner Minshew has thrown an interception. Facing the Steelers defense with 21 takeaways, including an NFL-best seven in the red zone, Minshew may find it difficult to succeed. Although Pittsburgh has not covered the spread in any of its five road games in 2023, we anticipate that this trend will change when they play against Indianapolis.
