The Las Vegas Raiders are off to a rough start this season, sitting at 0-3 for the first time in four years. They are looking to turn things around and secure their first win against Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos. Check out our predictions for the upcoming AFC West showdown between these two teams.

The Broncos paid a high price to acquire Wilson from the Seattle Seahawks this offseason, partly due to the Raiders’ four consecutive wins in the AFC West series.

Denver has not been impressive in the first three weeks, but they do have a 2-1 record. On the other hand, Las Vegas is winless at 0-3 with new head coach Josh McDaniels.

Take a look at our top NFL Week 4 selections here.

These are our predictions for the Broncos-Raiders NFL game in Week 4, with odds from DraftKings and BetMGM. Confidence in each pick is rated on a scale of 1 to 5 stars.

Broncos vs. Raiders Odds

Broncos vs. Raiders Odds Analysis

Despite their poor start, the Raiders remain a popular choice among bettors. The spread has moved from Las Vegas -2 to -2.5, with 68% of the tickets and 76% of the handle predicting that the Raiders will cover.

The Over/Under decreased from 46 to 45.5 by Sunday morning. The majority of bets (56%) and the majority of the money wagered (62%) are on the Under.

Broncos vs. Raiders Picks

  • Spread: Broncos +2.5 (-105 via DraftKings)
  • Over/Under: Under 45.5 (-110 via BetMGM)
  • Prop: Russell Wilson Over 240.5 passing yards (-110 via BetMGM)

Broncos vs. Raiders ATS Pick

Broncos +2.5 (-105)

The Raiders are in desperate need of a win to avoid falling to 0-4 and digging themselves into a deep hole in the division standings.

Conversely, the Broncos have demonstrated outstanding defense on the field. According to Football Outsiders, Denver is ranked fifth in overall defensive DVOA and fourth in pass defense. In comparison, Las Vegas ranks 24th in offensive DVOA and slightly higher at 20th in passing.

In their last two games, Denver’s defense only allowed a total of 19 points. The Broncos are looking to capitalize on their offensive potential against the Raiders, who have given up at least 24 points in each of their first three games and are ranked 20th in defensive DVOA.

Broncos vs. Raiders O/U Pick

Under 45.5 (-110) ★★★★

The Raiders are scoring an average of 21.3 points per game, while the Broncos are ranked as the second-lowest scoring team in the NFL with 14.3 points per game. This information is consistent with the previously mentioned DVOA statistics.

Given Denver’s dependence on its defense and lack of offensive breakthrough, it appears that betting the Under is the most secure option. The two teams have a combined record of 1-5 against the Over/Under as we head into Week 4.

Broncos vs. Raiders Prop Pick

Wilson Over 240.5 passing yards (-110) ★★

Wilson threw for 340 yards in the first game of the season, but his passing yardage has decreased in the following two games. He had 219 yards in Week 2 and 184 yards in Week 3.

Nevertheless, the Raiders’ defense has struggled in the passing game, ranking 23rd by DVOA. In their recent game against the Tennessee Titans, they allowed quarterback Ryan Tannehill to throw for 264 yards with a completion percentage of 70.37%, contributing to Tennessee’s first win of the season.

I anticipate that Wilson’s performance in Week 1 against the Seattle Seahawks will not be repeated, but I predict that he will throw for between 241 and 250 yards in the upcoming game.
