The data indicates that the Under is a probable outcome for Monday Night Football, as the New York home games have had a 1-3 record on Overs in 2026. Additionally, the Under has prevailed in two out of three road games for the Chargers.
However, the low number cannot be overlooked. Six out of seven games involving the Chargers in 2026 have ended with 41 or more points. Los Angeles is displaying a mix of strong offense (averaging 24.9 points per game) and weak defense (allowing 24.0 points per game).

Despite Over bets not performing well in past Jets games, we are still leaning towards the Over in this matchup due to the fact that the Jets should be able to keep the game competitive. Zach Wilson has shown improvement in his game management lately, and he could pose a significant threat to a Chargers defense that ranks last in pass defense.
The Jets’ defense, ranked sixth in pass defense with only allowing 184.4 yards per game, is in a strong position to contain Herbert and limit his performance. Herbert has thrown four interceptions in his last four games, and the Jets are ranked fifth in the league for intercepting passes on a per-game basis.
The Jets have a 3-1 record against the spread at home in 2026. DraftKings has the line set at Jets +3.5 for same-game parlays, while FanDuel is offering New York at +3. We are inclined to go with DraftKings for the parlay, as the half-point could make a difference. Possible game scores like 23-20 or 24-21 are within the realm of possibility for this matchup.
Wilson Over 215.5 passing yards (-115 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐
In a Week 8 victory against the Giants, Wilson passed for 240 yards, marking his second time in 2026 surpassing this passing total. The first instance occurred during a prime-time game in early October when the Jets gave the Chiefs a real challenge.
