In three home games this season, he surpassed 264.5 yards only once, which was in a game that the Lions ended up losing to the Seattle Seahawks. The Lions emerged victorious in the other two games, with Goff throwing for less than 250 yards in each.
Even against subpar quarterbacks, the Raiders’ pass defense is impressively holding opponents to an average of just 187.4 yards per game through seven games.

Although Goff’s passing yards under is considered a three-star play, our confidence in this Under is even higher. Goff has only completed more than 23.5 passes in three games this season. In two of those games, the Lions lost, and in the third game, they were essentially without a running back.
In Lions victories, particularly those that are decisive, Goff typically completes 22 passes or less. In the team’s four consecutive wins by 14 points or more, he threw 22 or fewer passes in three out of four games. He only surpassed that number when the rushing offense was significantly weakened.
The Lions may not dominate the Raiders, but they should focus more on running the ball, as it is the Raiders’ weakness. Combined with the fact that the Lions are selective with their passes, this strategy should work well.
