Our analysis of the Jets vs. Browns parlay predictions, using the most favorable NFL odds, suggest that Joe Flacco will excel despite facing a challenging opponent.

The New York Jets (6-9) have a strong pass defense in the NFL as they prepare to face the Cleveland Browns (10-5) on Thursday Night Football. However, they may struggle against Joe Flacco’s redemption story.

Will Joe Cool be able to lead his team to a victory at home as a strong favorite, boosting the Browns’ chances of making it to the NFL playoffs and staying in contention for the Super Bowl title?

SGP predictions for Jets vs. Browns

Browns -7.5 (-105) ⭐⭐⭐

Trevor Siemian is definitely a better option at quarterback compared to Zach Wilson or Tim Boyle. However, for the Jets to compete with Cleveland on Thursday night, a strong running game is essential. Despite Breece Hall’s impressive performance in the previous game against the Commanders, I predict that he will struggle against the Browns’ formidable top-10 run defense.

Cleveland’s defense gives up just over 100 rushing yards per game and performs at its peak when playing at home. The Browns have a 10-5 record against the spread overall and are a league-leading 7-1 against the spread at home this season.

We preferred this number much more when it was at -7 earlier in the day on Thursday. However, if Cleveland scores anywhere near their average total in four games under Joe Flacco (26.5 PPG), it should allow the best home ATS team in the NFL to succeed once again.

Over 34.5 (-105) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Although I doubt Siemian’s capability to lead the Jets to victory in this away game, I do believe that the team can score enough points to help the total go over by double digits.

Even though New York’s offense has struggled, eight of the Jets’ games this season have surpassed the 34.5-point total. On the other hand, Cleveland games have exceeded this total 10 times this year, with the Browns having one of the highest Over rates in the NFL (8-6-1) in a season marked by low-scoring games.

Ever since Flacco became the starting quarterback for Cleveland, the average total points scored in Browns games has been 52, surpassing the 34.5 mark on all four occasions. Flacco’s aggressive playing style leads to higher scoring games for both Cleveland and their opponents, indicating that the total points should consistently be in the upper 30s at the very least.

Joe Flacco Over 233.5 passing yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐

I am uncertain about our purpose here. Each week, I suggest that the sportsbooks increase Flacco’s passing yardage total, but my recommendations are consistently ignored. Surprisingly, this week we are being offered a lower total than the 246.5-yard prediction I made for Flacco in the game against the Texans last week.

The Jets have the second-best pass defense in the league, only allowing 168.6 yards per game through the air. However, Flacco has been relentless in his aerial attacks, surpassing 300 passing yards in each of his last three games and exceeding the total in four straight games.

The Jets’ strong run defense usually limits opponents’ passing yards. Despite recent struggles by Jerome Ford and Kareem Hunt, I predict the Browns will continue to rely on their passing game against the Jets.

Even though FanDuel has Flacco’s total one yard higher than DraftKings, we still prefer the FanDuel odds for this Single Game Parlay, as they are trading at +449 compared to +420 at DK.
